Beautiful new hood for Sharknado, she needed it!

Ordered the hood for a Jeep Jk awesome quality and great product for the money , it fitted just perfect , it came without damages . Looks amazing 🙌

Had to straighten corners to fit. Had to notch rib on passenger side to clear Sprintex Supercharger. Pain in butt to warp in carbon fiber, has alot of curves.

I love this hood it’s awesome

This hood is Made in CHINA and is not a direct fit. Make sure you test fit before painting! The hood hinge adjustment holes on the hood should be elongated instead of round. My hood was about 1\4" too far back to align in the front when I had it all the way forward. One side was touching on the back corner with no paint on the hood yet. Used a carbide bit on die grinder to elongate the holes to correct that issue. The other larger issue was the front of the hood is too flat (not enough arch). The hood would rub the paint off over time in the middle and outside JL style latches would not work a because the hood was too wide (from lack of arch). I had to but a 4x4 on the core support and close the hood on it and have a friend press down on both corners of the hood with me. This gave it a little more arch but still isn't perfect. I will have to drill the core support and install bumpers that hold the center of the hood at the correct height and than have to push each front corner down when latching hood... I spent the extra money thinking it would look better than stock and fit better than the other aftermarket options... It does look better than stock but not worth the aggregating fitment issues...

The hood cames with one small ding on raised part of hood, thin bubble wrap and thin foam sheet not much protection. The main issue with the hood, is the sides of the hood near the back is two short by about 1/4 inch on my 16 JK also the slots for the hood hinges needed to be made longer to slide hood forward. One body shop wanted around 2 grand to make it fit right and paint. I opted to go with another body shop that I knew how will they paint and told them make the hood fit best they could with out a lot of time in it and I wanted it done soon. The guys did awesome job with the paint and said they did what the could with time constraints and to keep labor down.

It was pack very well plenty of bubble wrap. no dents no scratches very happy with delivery. Will have up date on fit and paint. Paint make it look Evan better. Instillation was very easy no issues aligning so easy my daughter could of done it if she could of lifted the hood her self . Everything snapped in place from the old hood or screwed right in place.
