The dvd was very nice I liked the run time it was around 1 hour 50 minutes loved the film and the story expanding from godzilla vs Kong to godzilla vs Kong the new empire it showed a epic battle a sad story for Kong and funny godzilla moments and just how powerful godzilla can get

Kong finds other types of Kong 's in his world 🌎 that might threaten Humanity, so down to GODZILLA to join KONG in battle for safety of All.

Latest, and fifth, film in the 'Monsterverse' series of movies. Following on from 2021's 'Godzilla V Kong'. Some familiarity with events in these earlier films will help you get into this.It does delve more into the world under the Earth that was briefly seen in Godzilla V Kong. As circumstances force some of the human characters from that one, plus Kong and a new human character, to go into in search of certain things.Kong finds a lot more than he ever imagined. There's also of course a deadly threat. And it's not a spoiler to say there's a big fight between monsters in the last act, because did you seriously expect there wouldn't be?This doesn't try to be anything more than it is. A good solid monster movie. It does have some very good cgi, especially on all the apes that we see. They do get some good and realistic looking expressions.It does try to give emotional heft to the human scenes. They are okay. It doesn't do any more than it needs to with these characters though. So the balance of scenes between them and the monsters is about right.There are some scenes with subtitles, which can't be turned off.It also does try to expand the lore of this series. Those who know their monsters will get something out of it as a result.Kong really does have a good story in this one, and it does develop him as a character. Such as he is. If it does have a fault it's that it doesn't really do much with Godzilla. The balance between scenes for Kong and him is a bit skewed in favour of the former. But that's not a major complaint.This is alright while it lasts, but it won't stick in the mind very long after though. So in many ways it's a three star film, but I have given it four because it's a stronger movie than Godzilla King of the Monsters. So it's nothing special, but it's not a bad bit of escapism.It's not nearly as good as Godzilla Minus one of course. But what is?The dvd goes into the main menu when loaded with no trailers or ads.There are no extras at all.Language and subtitle options:Languages: English. Castilian Spanish.Subtitles: English. The fifth Monsterverse film in the Godzilla/Kong series is actually massively good fun, because everyone now knows what to expect and the film delights in nothing more than giving exactly that to the audience.The ‘plot’ is plainly absurd, as each instalment in the series focuses less on the humans and more on the expanding Hollow Earth mythology….oh, and giant creatures beating each other up destroying landmarks as they go! Here Kong accidentally discovers a new region within Hollow Earth which not only answers the question of whether he is the last of his kind or not, but could also trigger the latest creature threat to everyone!But where 2021’s ‘Godzilla vs Kong’ felt like a slog, ‘New Empire’ seems to have rediscovered a bit of 2017’s ‘Skull Island’s sense of fun. And it’s a visually enjoyable blast of vibrant colour, alongside a cheesy 80’s riffing soundtrack and a cast knowingly on the right side of the basic dialogue.Extras are actually fine. A commentary from director Adam Wingard plus others, and a good hour or more of mini-featurettes on the making of the film (although there’s no option to ‘Play All’). Mostly fluff stuff, but fine to skim over.
