This book helped me out a lot and I know a lot about vehicles but even I need help sometimes when working on my truck and this was great help. If you need help with your vehicle get one of these books that's for your vehicle trust me it comes in handy.

This manual is ok, but for my 2000 F150 some information is wrong. For example, it says the engine oil required up to 1999 is 5W30 and from 2000 is 5W20. However, the tag inside the engine compartment clearly states 5W30 is required. There are other such anomalies. Oh well. 🤷‍♂️

Haynes have better wiring diagrams than Chilton.

For my husband’s “new” truck. He says never be without a manual for repairing your car and this company is one he trusts for accuracy and simplicity in directions.

Not very detailed but covers most repairs. Paper is a little flimsy, keep away with oily or greasy hands

Pays for itself the moment you do a repair on your own. If you are mechanically inclined at all, I encourage you to pick this up. You can save a lot of money.
