Define not 0000 grade
Title is a little misleading/confusing.It states it is 0000 grade and also course.It's not 0000 grade by any means it is somewhere between 00 and 0.Perfect for preparing wood prior to finishing.Not so good for dulling a polished finish as it is way too course.It is good quality and doesn't breakdown or crumble easily.However, I'm sure it will be fine for plugging holes of any size.The scissors are handy!

Very good steel wool - it's come in handy for my latest DIY project
At the moment, we're renovating our downstairs loo, which has involved rubbing down the current (very old) radiator so we can re-paint it, rather than buying a new one. These wool balls have been great, with enough coarse-ness to really get stuck in, and it'd been doing a good job of getting the old paint off.I would absolutely use the included gloves; they're very handy for not getting those horrible sharp little wire splinters in your hands. And the scissors are nice and sharp and cut through it pretty easily.Overall, a nice quality set of wool, gloves and scissors, and I'd order again if I needed to because I think the price is fair.

You get a lot of steel wool, more than I was expecting.
I discovered a hole in my skirting board, so wanted to deal with it. i got the Meff-Mluk steel wool pack as it came with gloves and scissors. In the pack you get 5 rolls of steel wool. It is actually a lot larger than i was expecting for a pack, so you get a lot for your money. The steel wool can be used to fill a hole, wearing the gloves you can cut a piece to size then stuff the hole and then the process is supposed to be that you seal the hole to prevent further ingress. The pack gives you enough for a very large amount of holes, you would have a very large infestation for this pack to run out. its a a keeper of a pack should you ened it.Pros: Lots of steel wool, deters rodents, cut to size, seal, scissors and gloves included.Cons: Got more than I was expecting, far more.
