Perfect backyard umbrella
The umbrella’s size is impressive, providing ample shade for a large patio area or a dining set. The canopy material feels durable and is resistant to both fading and water, which is crucial for outdoor furniture. The frame is sturdy, with a crank system that feels smooth and reliable. The large span of the umbrella effectively blocks the sun, making my backyard comfortable even on the hottest days. The tilt feature is a great addition, allowing for easy adjustments as the sun moves throughout the day. However, due to its size, the umbrella does catch the wind, so it’s essential to secure the base properly or close it during windy conditions.Given its size and quality, this umbrella offers excellent value. While it’s a bit of an investment compared to smaller models, the added shade and comfort it provides are well worth it.

Very sturdy and well made
Ok so I read a gazillion reviews and was hesitant snt putting them together and the whole thing with water retention. So first they are not that difficult to put together. I had my friend come over to assist and I am very visual. No problem putting them together if you just take your time and think. I don't think that l words with instructions would have really helped. But helpful to have someone helping to hold pieces together as we figured out. I put the other 2 chairs together solo. As for water retention, yes they do hold water but I put the on their side when it rained and then turned them again and they were dry within an hour. However after that I bought great waterproof covers and no problems now!

Covers our 5 ft square table.
Material is thinner than others I've purchased from Amazon but it does the job. & the price was fantastic. Goes up easily & covers well.

What I've been looking for
This umbrella was exactly what I wanted. I have a narrow porch on the south side of the house, and a round umbrella did not give enough shade coverage. I would have to move the umbrella with the sun to keep 2 chairs and a small table in the shade. With this umbrella I do not need to move it at all, it covers the whole area. It's very sturdy for a single pole umbrella and surprisingly light weight to remove by yourself in case of bad weather.

Love this umbrella!!
I love this umbrella! The color is perfect and it was very easy to install. We had an existing umbrella stand and we just swapped it out with this new one. The color filters the sun and it does cool us while at the table. The only problem we had is the tie is much too short and too high for us. I sewed an extension on the tie and it should work much easier for us.

Read me ... know what your getting
One There's no air vent to prevent it from flying away. If a breeze goes underneath of it, normally there's an air vent at the top to prevent one hotbox in your patio or 2 to give it a little bit more endurance in high winds. Second, this is slightly shorter than my one. I got from Sam's Club, but that's okay. The biggest thing to note is this is really thin material, much like what you would get from a tent from like a Walmart. Don't get me wrong. I have lots of camping gear from Walmart over the last 20 years and some of it I still use and it's durables. I'll get out, but just know this is really thin. It's not canvas. And light shines through it very easily it is very easy to put up-and-down. Though you definitely need to make sure you have a heavy enough base. I have issues because of my base is old and so it tends to rotate umbrellas. Not just this one, any umbrella they go spin. Around like a carousel, so one of the ways I combat, this is I use a clamp on my fence and a bungee cord. Hooked around one of the bars of the umbrella and I make sure there's plenty of rooms that stop pulling it 1 way or another. But it just gives it a little bit tethering like I would a tarp, if I'm setting up a camping site. I also attach a sidewall shade using close pin to give me some extra shade. As I am super sensitive, I use the sidewall on one side where the Sun is the worst for me. I don't understand why people want lights on umbrellas if I'm sitting outside and it's night time I don't want light illuminating what I'm doing. I don't want people seeing me. I don't want to see that. I won't be left alone if so, I'm glad it doesn't have all those fancy features. Cause those will just break probably. But I will say a battery operated fan would be really nice built in for summer time
