Q: Can a preschooler easily bite this apart?

It takes about 6 weeks of 12 hour biting for my 13 year old to bite one in half. He chews on it like gum and has a super strong bite. I would guess it would hold up well for a younger child. This is much stronger than most sensory toys, but still gentle on the teeth. We’ve had these since Christmas and although two have been chewed in half, I would buy these again

Q: Are these appropriate for a 2 year old?

I wouldn’t recommend them for a 2 year old because they are a stretchy, rubbery material. And, a 2 year old could probably bite a piece off. And, these kept getting caught in the little ones hair - when you stretch them open. I ultimately threw them away to be safe.

Q: Are they noisy when manipulated?

Not at all. I have 1 kid that likes to make them squeak in his teeth. But anything can make that noise.
