DC-in Power Jack Board Connector for Lenovo Thinkpad T420S T430S Sub Card 04W3997 04W1699 0A85583 55.4KF04.001G M/O 124754

Fixed my broken power connector on ThinkPad T430S. If you're taking this apart yourself: there are many screws on bottom, one screw on each backside hinge covered up with square stickers, and then a few under the keyboard. The keyboard pops out pretty easily and is connected with a delicate ribbon cable.

My OEM power jack started to disintegrate a few months back and obviously needed replacement. This was a suitable replacement part and was easily installed after a quick teardown of my T430s. It's been a few weeks now since I replaced it and it's been nothing but rock solid. The jack is a slightly different style but holds the barrel plug tight like a glove. The solder joints are quality, the edge connector fit snugly, and the PCB fits perfectly with proper alignment.

Worked as advertised. Restored Thinkpad function.
