Excellent quality 8K HDMI cable!
The KableDirekt Ultra High Speed 8K HDMI cables are of excellent quality! I was very impressed overall with these cables! The cable jackets are very flexible and durable. The gold plated ends of the connectors are very well polished. The connector ends seem to be molded very well. I compared these cables to 8K compatible cables from GE that are available at various big box stores at a much higher price. These blow them away! The gold plated ends on the GE brand we're not as highly polished and the cable itself is extremely stiff and not very flexible at all. I bought two of these KableDirekt HDMI cables to use on my new Sony TV to connect my soundbar and UHD Blu-ray disc player which are also from Sony! My television sensed the soundbar and Blu-ray player immediately upon connecting them and I was able to go through Sony's very easy and thorough set up procedure and had them up and running in no time. So now my new Sony Smart TV with Google TV built in controls my soundbar and the UHD Blu-ray disc player with ease. Using my TVs eARC HDMI connection, when I turn on my TV the sound bar automatically comes on as well. It also turns the soundbar off when I turn off the TV! I can also turn the volume on the sound bar up and down all with my Sony Smart TV remote! I really liked that the KableDirekt HDMI cables come with a 7-year warranty. To me that means they are confident that their cables are well made. They're also certified HDMI ultra high definition cables. The packaging has a hologram sticker that you scan with your smartphone to verify this fact. For the price of these HDMI cables I don't think you can go wrong. There may be cheaper priced brands but they are not certified! The certification ensures the build quality and functionality of the cables.

very nice heavy duty 8K HDMI cables that look great and work perfectly
These are excellent quality HDMI cables! I picked up a couple of the 6 ft length versions in Black/Blue on sale recently and they not only appear to be well made and durable, but look great as well. I replaced my older spec HDMI cables with these and they are working great so far.

The HDMI cable that actually works!
I rarely write reviews. Yet, these days, it's hard to find products that simply do what they're advertised to do. And this cable deserves the 5 star rating and a review for holding true to its advertised description. Note that I have no affiliation with this company nor Amazon, and I was not paid or given anything to write this. The product was paid out of my pocket for my own personal use.I am currently using a 4K 144Hz monitor that's shared between my gaming desktop and work laptop. I simply switch between the monitor inputs depending on what I am doing. The monitor has 2 HDMI 2.1 ports and a single DisplayPort (DP) 1.4. Because the laptop has limited port selection due to its "pickiness" with port recognition, it would occupy the only DP input to the monitor. That leaves me with 2 HDMI 2.1 ports for the gaming desktop. Of course, I wanted to take the full advantage of 4k resolution combined with 144Hz refresh rate, but none of the existing HDMI cables (rated at HDMI 1.x) that I had laying around could handle the sheer amount of data; I have had issues with my screen blinking, glitching out, or even completely lose signal for few seconds during the heat of intense gaming! I knew that mechanically, the old HDMI cables were not damaged, because all of them had no issues in the past attached to my living room PC or gaming consoles with 1080p and 1440p monitors (all at 60Hz refresh rate). I figured that the issue was caused by the "bandwidth bottleneck" from the older cables.Simple solution: get a high-bandwidth cable rated for HDMI 2.1 (which the monitor and GPU are spec'ed to support). It can't get easier than this, right? Well, I was wrong. On Amazon, I found and purchased an HDMI cable that "claimed" to support 4K 120Hz, 8K 60Hz, 48Gbps transfer speed, and what-not. When plugged in, however, that cable had all the same issues (albeit with less frequency) that my old cables suffered from. I have failed to realize that the description of the product did NOT explicitly mention that the cable complied to HDMI 2.1 or that it was certified by the HDMI Licensing Admin. Behold, when I went back on Amazon search, upon closer inspection, I saw that very few of the "high-bandwidth" HDMI cables specifically mention that they comply to HDMI 2.1 standards. And even when they do have those statements, they simply proclaim or advertise to do so, with no certification from any reputable sources! Because of this, those cables may work fine with regular 4K monitors at 60Hz (and hence their 4+ star reviews), with very few people realizing that when pushed to the limits, the cables simply cannot handle the bandwidth. This KabelDirekt HDMI cable, however, simply worked as advertised. No flickering, no glitching, no black screens. Just works - at the full resolution and refresh rate of my monitor. The HDMI app confirms that the product is certified and licensed. The build quality is solid: nice and thick cable, with the gold-plated (as another reviewer pointed out, the plated color is closer to silver, and not the bright golden shown on the product images, but I doubt it will effect the performance since HDMI is purely digital, with no analog signal what-so-ever) male ports fitting snugly to the female ports. And finally, I am a happy customer.

Good cable at a good price, a bit bulky
I was having problems with this cable not supporting Dolby Vision at 4K. I was getting frequent signal dropouts and HDCP errors. It turns out there was a setting in my AV Receiver (Denon AVR-S760H) that was preventing the full bandwidth signal from being transmitted.Once I corrected the setting, the cable works fine for our Roku Ultra, at 4K with Dolby Vision HDR.I removed one star just because the connectors on the cable are quite bulky and the cable itself is very stiff. I've had other cables (Anker, for one) that are much more compact and more flexible.

A solid HDMI cable really makes a difference if you care about clear picture and sound. I grabbed one recently to connect my console to the TV, and setup was as simple as plug and play
