I was a very early user of ghd's after an introduction from my hairdresser at the time. I have fine hair which will naturally do corkscrew curls if left to its own devices, but frizzes, is easily weighed down with styling products and was really hard to deal with so I was always pinning it up or pulling it straight with an end curl while blowdrying. Ghd's were a revelation at the time and they are the mainstay of my hair care routine. As my hair is so fine I have upgraded on the basis that the most recent version further minimises damage to the hair, however, I have never noticed any improvement overall in straightening etc. I have blonde hair which I now colour as I am getting older so I never get a shine. I almost just replaced my 5-year-old Platinum + ghd, as reviews were saying the spec difference was minimal BUT, I love this green colourway and the competitive price, so I opted for Chronos. I have only just got it but wow, it is worth a review. One pass on my hair and perfection. Two or three on my sister's hair (very thick and very curly) to give the best finish I have ever achieved on her hair. I also used it to do loose curls on my friend and they are still in after a night's sleep. Yes, I am very experienced in handling straighteners which might give me an edge, but this product is genuinely enhancing what can be done. If you are thinking of upgrading then do so.

Apparently this is a brand new item but when the box was opened by me, there is a superficial mark as seen in the picture. I can't speak about the product it's self but I'm not happy that it has arrived in this condition especially considering how much these cost! I only have the option to return the product or write a review.

Purchased for my daughter for Christmasi. It was always going to be GHD, but this colour … wow!

Look really good travel bag handy extra.Straighteners are good do have to go over hair more than once on occasions my hair is thick though.But I am really happy with them and would recommend
