Office Install
This fan is awesome. My office was burning up because my computer would heat up the room. I installed this fan to the exterior room and it works like a charm. Very quiet and easy to use. Great investment. IR.

Just what I needed
I needed to share the cold air from my bedroom to my kitchen, since my minisplit is 1ton capacity, I thought it would work cooling both ambience without having the door open. It is a real convenient, so I can receive visitors in my living open plan while my bedroom keeps private. Great quality, works properly. Only one month since my purchase. I'll update my review ahead. The noise level is acceptable to me, but not very quiet if you pretend sleep having it ON, I only use it to refresh a second area while awake. It works what is made for, just keep in mind the área you will share with, my kitchen is 10'x 12' and it gets good amount of cold air from my bedroom through this baby.

Helped with room temperature control, but not as quiet as I'd hoped.
I use this in a bedroom that's converted to an office and which houses one dual-screen gaming PC running constantly and a second (MacBook and monitor) running intermittently (and all the room's interior lights converted to LED for heat minimization). With no additional ventilation, the bedroom is usually 6-8 degrees (or more) warmer than the other rooms in the open area outside this room on this level. The room we use this fan to cool has an 11' ceiling with a standard interior door (which is always open), so there's a lot of room for heat to build up in near the room's ceiling. Running the room's overhead fan just moves the heat around. Alas, we cannot put an air conditional through the wall or windows of this room. That's why we tried this fan.Putting this fan above the doorway, close to the ceiling, evacuates the heat from the room, pulling cooler air in through the door. This helps keep the room's temp within 2-3 degrees of the home's ambient temperatures (we're evacuating the heat out into the main, open area for the home and its a large enough and well-enough ventilated space that heat blown from this bedroom into the open space is not noticeable. But we still have to make compromises in using this fan. Running this fan on level 3 is the minimum for really cooling off the room by evacuating the heat from near the ceiling, and level 4 would be better. But those fan speed levels are just too loud. So we leave this unit on level 2, which is still quite audible but bearable, and live with the warmth moderation we can get at that low speed.I believe that a straight-through vent, rather than a directionally ducted one would probably work better, be more efficient, and perhaps be more quiet because we wouldn't be trying to bend the air through an angled vent.

Broke within 2 minutes
Installation was pretty easy. I ran the fan for about two minutes and the fan blade came off the shaft. Literally two minutes of run time. the fan seems decent--but I'm very disappointed.

Almost like I've added an AC to the master bathroom
I'm using this clever device to move cool air from my air conditioned master bedroom into the adjoining bathroom, which lacks any ducts from the AC. I have it mounted right over the door, so when the door's closed I can still keep the bathroom relatively cool. It seems to move plenty of air, isn't terribly loud, and I like that it can be set to automatically turn on whenever the temperature rises above a certain level. I will likely be purchasing another unit for a second bathroom with similar temperature issues. Two very minor quibbles:(1) As others have mentioned, the fans only blow in one direction. So for my application, I needed to unscrew the unit and reverse the fans so that the thermostat side of the wall (the side inside the bathroom) is pulling air into the room, not pushing it out. The fan reversal process is not difficult, just a minor setup hassle.(2) As far as I can tell the unit only shows the temperature in Fahrenheit. I'd like it to be in Celsius to match what shows on my AC displays. It would be great if, on a future model, there were switches added to the unit to change the fan direction and temperature unit of measure.

Actually works but WITH modification.
I am using these to transfer conditioned air from the living room to bedrooms in a small home.1. The fans are blowing the wrong way and need to be reversed.2. See 1. When installed, the thermostat should be on the room side RECEIVING the conditioned air, but with the fans blowing the wrong way, the Tstat must be on the room side SUPPLYING the conditioned air. So, the Tstat is reading the temperature of the air being supplied, not the temperature of the room that needs heating/cooling.3. The mode/speed button beeps really loud when changing. I found the 'speaker' (Google what it looks like on the circuit board) and hot glued over it to deaden the sound. It worked.I made the modifications above and this guy does exactly what I need it to. Every bedroom has it's own climate control at barely a fraction of the cost of a multi-zone residential split system. This would get 5 stars if the modifications weren't required. Good luck if you decide to dive in!

Sturdy and well built!
My use case was a powered exchange for an under-stairwell closet in my basement that houses my home network gear and servers.Sturdy construction and good materials. Comes with a template to help cut proper sized holes. Electrical assembly is simple and of good quality. Instruction manual that comes with it is above the bar. Easy to disassemble and clean. Was surprised by the overall quality. 10/10
