Perfect item for mounting things to your chin, Full size digital SLR's do tend to be a tad heavy but maybe I just need to build up my neck strength. After much experimentation i found it works much better with a motorbike helmet and small go pro style camera, sturdy, sticky and cheap .... just like my ex wife.

Quality is very good, (although I didn’t get the full aluminium one by choice). Easy to fit and move wherever needed works with a great range of cameras and mounts

Really good happily suprised good quality and comes with good ammount of adjustablity.Sticks really well to my helment even tho its a bad shape.Well worth the price.I would say its a universal fit

Once you tighten the nuts and bolts into the correct position required, it is a solid unit. However, I will not be using it as it is too heavy when combined with the camera (GoPro hero, 11 black) The3M sticky pads supplied with the product, I would not have much faith in them, as you would need to also apply some very strong superglue! I’m sure I will find a use for it at some stage, but not on the motorcycle helmet as I just know it would only be a matter of time Before it falls off costing a lot of money to replace the camera.There is also an additional stick, sticky pad supplied with a string, if the sticky pads were that good you shouldn’t need the extra one with the string, it’s just too much on the helmet. Also reviewing playback footage it’s shaky at best. I gave three stars for this product because of the weight and the shakiness of the camera footage after fitting. you could try tightening the nuts and bolts, but I fear that could do more damage and possibly break the unit.

Ordered this helmet mount as it is aluminium not plastic and I thought it might be better. It is excellent quality and very adjustable. Very stable when in position and comes supplied with metal spanner tool and tether lines which I haven't used as I am happy that the mount is solid enough. One point though is that you need the spanner every time if you want to remove the mount from the helmet. I have improvised a little and have used the original GoPro base instead that clicks into place instead of being permanently stuck to the helmet. This means I can simply remove the complete mount with the camera still attached when I want to leave the helmet somewhere without the mount attached. I was so pleased that I have bought another one for my son to use on his helmet.

The adhesive is weak and the plastic breaks easily

I've used this mount for a while now with no problems so far , it's pretty plug and play tbh it's pretty sturdy and for the price it's at I would recommend it
