This toaster is worth the $$
This toaster is da bomb!! It’s FAST… doesn’t always toast our bread on the first round (probably because it’s either frozen or refrigerated), but it works like a charm. It’s very quiet and efficient… oh… and beautiful!

It’s a great quality product!
Bought this back in August and I LOVE IT! We’re bread eaters and having various options on how to toast your bread/bagels, etc is SO COOL! If you enjoy various options on how to prepare your toast/sandwiches, you’ll love this but if you’re pretty practical and always on the go, this might not be the choice for you. I also LOVE the look of it on my countertops, I’m super impressed.

Reliable level of toasting
The pics you choose to set darkness are pretty accurate. The only complaint I have,is that it's too quiet. When it's done it gives off this gentle tone you can't hear in the next room. No way to adjust the volume

Toasts Well and Fast
This is the best toaster I've ever had. It is quick as well. No problems with toasting anything. I've made great paninis as well.

Next-Level Toaster - A Game Changer!
I am absolutely blown away by the Revolution R180 Connect Smart Toaster! This is by far the most advanced toaster I’ve ever used. From the sleek stainless steel design to the touchscreen controls, it looks as high-tech as it functions. What sets this toaster apart is its InstaGLO Technology. It toasts bread so quickly and evenly – I’m talking just a minute or two for perfectly toasted slices, which is perfect for busy mornings. The browning controls are super intuitive, and I love that I can get my toast just the way I like it every time. The Wi-Fi connectivity is a cool feature! It’s nice to be able to control it remotely or check the weather widget on the touchscreen while I wait for my toast. The over-the-air updates mean my toaster is always improving, and that’s a huge plus for me.It’s also super easy to clean and the two-slice capacity is perfect for a quick breakfast. No more waiting around for a toaster that takes forever or doesn't get the toast right. This one is quick, efficient, and makes my mornings so much easier.I definitely recommend this toaster if you want to elevate your breakfast experience. It's a game-changer and worth every penny!

Not all that
I thought this looked like the coolest thing, and since I was in the market for a smaller toaster anyway, I was thrilled to receive the Revolution R180 Connect Smart Toaster to review.I had such high expectations. I'll take some of the blame for that, but there was a lot of hype, and hey, you can connect it to your phone. The good: It does a reasonable job of toasting bread. I'm a geek for the gadget aspect of how it lowers and raises your toasted object; it's a bitt sci-fi! The touch screen works well and the navigation is intuitive and easy. It does a good job on fresh (not frozen) bread, and holds in the moisture really well for that bread type. I really appreciate that as I use a lot of seed bread that quickly dries out in normal toasters. It can make grilled sandwiches as well. Also on the geeker side of things, I like the countdown timer and alarm. It notifies you when the crumb tray needs emptied, and you can connect it to your phone if you need a smart toaster. I'd say it is a pretty good toaster. The not so great or why bother? You can connect it to your phone. This falls into the why bother category and isn't a feature I need or care about. It only takes a few minutes to toast bread, so it feels a bit pointless. I mean do we need the ability to start the toast when we get out of the shower or while we're driving home from work? What is the point? You don't have to use it, so why mention it? I mention it because it drives up the price. It does a reasonably good job of toasting, however the calibration is off. Based strictly on the images on the touch screen, one should expect a beautifully golden piece of toast from fresh (not frozen) bread at level 4. I have yet to receive a piece of toast that looks like that image. At 4 it comes out too light... If you put it back in at say a 2 (so you don't take it too far) it comes out looking like a 5 or 6. Nothing I've tried has produced the perfection the images suggest. Things only get worse if you are trying to use the frozen setting, and the frozen setting often negates the good aspect of it not drying out the toast. The final fault, and I feel it is pretty major, is that the Toasties Press, that allows you to make toasted sandwiches, is an optional product sold separately. It too has a heafty price tag (more than you'd pay for a plain ol' pop up toaster). Now the ad does tell you that it's optional (apparently the warming rack is optional as well, but the ad doesn't mention that). My complaint is, without that option, what you really have is a toaster. At this price point, seriously all of the "options" should be standard equipment. I mean after all, you need to have SOMETHING to make it worth the money. What I have is an OK toaster I can connect to my phone. Big woop
