Easy set up of video doorbell and can use micro sd card.
What a great bit of kit! It is so easy to set up and with the availability to add a micro sd card no subscription charges, although that option is available if you would prefer. I've only just installed this, but so far so good. Great value for money, brilliant picture quality, good motion detection. I can't comment on battery life as just installed.

Perfect door bell with no costly monthly subscription
We have quite a few Tapo cameras and products and when our old push doorbell died it made sense to upgrade to a video one. The doorbell is stylish and looks lovely on the door frame. Set up and installation was super easy and only took a few minutes (used the sticky pad provided). The video quality is amazing and despite living on a main road I have been able to tweak the settings so it doesn't pick up the traffic and only people walking on the drive. Excellent battery life so far. It's been installed for a couple of months and still has 50% battery left. Easy to view footage and no need for a monthly subscription as I have added a sd card. I couldn't be happier

Easy to install and does what it should
Was looking for a video door bell for a while, saw this and read the reviews and it seemed fairly good. Had a few issues setting up, even following the instructions but once I reset my WiFi router it fixed it and away I went. Was very simple after that. Works well and does what it says, there is quite a delay on the mic option, but not sure if that’s just my WiFi or as it’s quite far away from the router, the only reason I haven’t given it 5* is that I’ve had to buy a micro SD after to put in, if you’re not signing up for the monthly subscription, which currently is not, I’d advise to purchase one with it or for it before setting up. Overall though, very happy with the purchase. Great value and a good sturdy piece of kit.

Brilliant replacement for Ring Doorbell
I purchased this Tapo doorbell to replace my Ring doorbell, as I was fed up with the increasing charge to store the footage, which has increased by approx 100% since I bought it. I couldn't be more pleased with it. The lens is very wide and gives a very clear picture and in full colour at night. It was very easy to install and I've even connected it up to Alexa and also to my Echo show. Storage is via a micro sd card, so no ongoing costs. My only slight gripe is that I will have to actually remove to re-charge the battery as you cannot just remove the battery like the ring. All in all, at a total cost of about £70 including the micro sd card an absolute bargain.

Fantastic Doorbell Camera at a Great Price
Having moved over from a BotLab Doorbell, I can confidently say the Tapo Wireless Doorbell is not only far cheaper but performs much better. The connection is more stable, and since I already have several Tapo devices, sticking to a single ecosystem made a lot of sense. The Positives:Value for Money: At this price, it’s an absolute steal. It delivers high-quality features without the hefty price tag of some other brands.Performance: The connection is solid—no dropouts or delays like I had with my old doorbell.Ecosystem Integration: If you’re already in the Tapo ecosystem, this fits in seamlessly. Managing all devices in one app is incredibly convenient.Video Quality: The 2K resolution is excellent, and the full-colour night vision is a real game-changer for spotting late-night visitors.Ease of Use: Setup was straightforward, and it works perfectly with Alexa.Weatherproofing: Living in the UK, the IP65 rating is appreciated—it’s handled rain without a hitch. The Bottom Line:If you’re after a reliable, feature-packed video doorbell at a reasonable price, this is a no-brainer. It’s a solid performer, integrates beautifully into the Tapo ecosystem, and offers excellent value.

Good quality video and sound, easy set up but some security issues
I'm currently testing this out and have not decided if I'm keeping it or not.Pros:1. Relatively easy to set up2. Good quality video and sound3. Alerts are prompt and there is a motion detection alert so it will alert you if someone walks up to the door even if they don't press the bell.4. Good value of price vs featuresCons:1. The doorbell itself can be removed from the mounting bracket with a small pin so someone can walk up and just steal the door bell2. The SD card slot is on the door bell itself so if someone does steal the doorbell they also steal all your footage. Or they can simply remove the SD card with a screwdriver as the slot is only secured with a screw.3. A bit of a lag when answering the bell on your phone. Video feed does not automatically turn on the microphone so you need to press another button to speak to your visitor. So a few too many button presses to see and talk to your visitor in addition to the lag of loading the video feed.4. The whole doorbell needs to be removed to charge the battery which requires 7 hrs to fully charge. Its not clear to me how long the battery will practically last (advertised battery life is 6 months). The two main security points are what is making me hesitate from keeping this door bell.Update: the battery has dropped 22% in about 2 weeks with almost no usage. I will be returning this.

Its a 2 k video and picture quality amazing too as u can see
Well I say that this is the best camera I've seen for £50 it knocks fits into the ring video doorbell it's a 2k camera it can take a 256 GB card but I only got a 128 GB which is still a lot as u can make do with a 64 GB as it's will still store enough videos or picture on the card it's got a colour light on which u can record in colour if u want I highly recommended this camera and it's very high quality too a very good bargain the battery lasts for about 4 months it could be longer if I adjusted the view but I am happy with it I also have the c82 security camera with solar panel all for £49
