good quality umbrella, resistent&strong to wind

Easy to carry but not convinced of it’s wind proof properties

It's gone everywhere with me, including to Peru. The grip coating goes after a while and the velcro isn't great now a few years later but it's a solid little umbrella, and the mechanism still works. It takes a really sideways unexpected gust to know it inside out.

Superb quality product.

Being Samsonite, I did have complete confidence the product would perform well. My faith has been completely lost though following using it on a windy day, the first time when I had ever used it in such conditions. Unfortunately a gust of wind blew it inside out and broke one of the supports rendering it useless. Given the umbrella had only been used a handful of times, and this was the first time it had been tested, I was shocked at how easily it broke. If you want a strong umbrella, I suggest looking elsewhere.

First umbrella was missing its cover and was obviously a return as it was screwed up and poorly packaged. Replacement was dispatched same day and was fine.

The umbrella came without the original cover and I am not sure if this is a new item or one that someone has previously returned
