This is a fantastic knife. The leaf shape blade is great for a variety of cutting jobs. I like Spyderco knives and this one sort of “spoke to me” you could say. It came sharp out of the box. The flipper works pretty well but I prefer the thumb studs. The handle is comfortable as is the clip. No hotspots. The top liner lock (compression lock) is very easy to actuate via the button and the lockup is strong. No movement and the blade was centered. For the money, you can’t go wrong. It feels good, cuts great and isn’t insanely expensive.

Love, love, love this knife. Awesome action. Decent feel and ergonomics. Top notch super steel and carbon fiber. High end knife at a modest price. I have 17 different Kizer knives now and this leads the pack. Honestly it makes my top ten list ......out of hundreds and hundreds. I have a bit of a problem. lol. The shilen profile of the blade and the slight downward slope provide excellent ergonomics for cutting tasks. The blade runs on bearings and deploys smoothly. The flipper tab is easy to use and well-textured. Love the black stonewashed finish. The G10 has a textured appearance but is rather smooth in hand.

The deployment action is amazing. No play on the blade and comes pretty sharp out of the box. I am very pleased with this purchase.

this is kizers first attempt at a button compression lock and its friggin awesome!! lock up is very solid. kizer has these in 2 models. i have the one with the g10 scales which happen to be some of the best g10 youll ever see on a knife, one might even mistake the g10 for carbon fiber. the other knife has a carbon fiber overlay on g10 which is basically a good carbon fiber sticker, which is fake carbon fiber. if you like the look of the carbon fiber then by all means ignore my opinion. that being said, both knives will bring you happiness. you should have the knife in your collection cause its a first for kizer. enough babble. everyone take care.
