Nice powder
I love this powder because I make resin pyramids and I don't have to use as much metal because this powder does what I need it to do

Fine grade powder. May require a lot of sanding/polishing to get a high metallic sheen
This metallic powder is very fine and will mix in quite well, or you can dust your mold with it. This is not magnetic. Make sure to use enough powder. In order to get a realistic metallic look with a high shine, you may need to sand and polish it quite a bit - it may take a couple tries in order to achieve the look you want, so perhaps start with a couple smaller pieces until you are able to perfect your process.*Don't rely on the product images in the listing to accurately represent the color. If you look at the different metallic shades available, they all have the identical images, except for the color - they are clearly photoshopped.

cold cast creativity
got this for sculpting crcohet hook heads to use in my hand carved handle for interchangeable hooks. mostly made of wood and brass, i wanted some stainless steel hook heads that resemble the vintage heads in those small sizes. carving that small would be a hassle and not a fortified result depending on the wood. so to minimize error, i got this for casting small sizes but now that it's here have decided to cast *all* sizes to accompany my wooden hook sets. to have an entire steel set from small to large is pretty neat, especially when i can more easily regulate the length of the shaft, i can make, say, a tunisian friendly hook that much easier, without having to scout out the tip dimensions i find most ideal. this is really a game changer in the way of my creativity, the options seem endless. a proper mold is really the key to making sure this is consistently successful. pretty stoked to keep playing around with this, it's a fairly fine powder and can really see it being useful for so many more projects.

A lot of work!
So, the powder mixed with 2 part epoxy pretty easily so long as you don't let it sit prior to mixing. It cures well without any issues. The challenge is polishing! The bullet di shown in the picture are results of polishing with 00 wool steel for close to 30 minutes. A lot of work and time wold need to go into completing an entire set of dice plus the revolver storage box, which I barely started.Although being able to say it's made with real metal is nice in an ad, it is a lot of investment. Especially when I can find metallic mica powder that is quick, easy, and yields amazing supe4 metall8c, shiny, results for less cost.

Great for cold casting
I'm sure you could come up with another creative use for this, but pretty much everyone is going to use it for mixing in resin and cold casting metallic objects. It works great for that. It's fairly easy to mix with the resin, and it's fine enough that you can dust it on your mold first to get a metallic layer on the outside of the resin.Once your cast is cured, you can polish it up with some high grit sandpaper or steel wool, and get a nice shiny object that looks great! It's worth noting that this is _stainless_ steel powder, so it's non-magnetic. That's probably what you want, but I can imagine some projects where that would be disappointing. You'll need to buy plain-old iron filings for those projects instead.

Extremely fine
This powder is extremely fine!It is a perfect cold casting ingredient as it blends smoothly into resin. The price point is fantastic for the quality and consistency of the powder.I think it’s great material and I would order it again if needed.
