AWESOME little welder!
This is truly a hidden gem, a great value for wire-feed welders! It’s small, not heavy, comes with a nice shoulder strap for those awkward welding jobs. The dual-voltage input is very handy; I primarily use it with 220/240 volts. It runs clean and really makes nice welds… I only use Hynade wire and tips for best results as well as fewer maintenance headaches. It is my go-to welder for general welding. If I had to find something that wasn’t perfect, it would be the duty cycle….but I don’t know of any other welders with such a small size & weight that would give a better duty cycle. I love this welder!!

a good choice
It is as advertised. It's appears to be well made (I've not taken it apart). It functions well in all modes. Given the low price, it's a great buy; but what might be improved for a little higher price. The 6+ long power lead is a little short. It's sometimes difficult to have the machine close to you, forcing one to be creative in supporting it. Given that the power lead is fixed to the machine, there might be a place to hang or wrap it when moving the welder. I don't know what would be involved in making the power lead detachable given that it's flux-core only.I am very pleased with my choice of this unit and I assume that it will continue to work well on the small to moderate welding projects that I have planned.

So beginner may find it easy. I did not.
Mine might be broken or something else is going on. My 140D is super fincky. Using the chart i had to dial it WAY down to be able to do any welding. It does OK on thicker material but anything down to 14 gauge and it was nigh impossible. I just need to work with it more. I am used to larger more forgiving welders i guess

Great beginner welder
I've only used it once so far but this made flux welding a breeze compared to the Chicago flux 125 from HF, not sure why the 135 is "frequently returned" because I couldn't be happier with mine

Satisfied but…!!!!
Be sure….and I’ll say this again…”Be Sure” you check and double check your settings before you start welding with this little welder.I’ve welded tons of steel using gas shield MIG and MIG inner-shield wire. Plus I’ve used small flux core welders as well. So you’d think I’d check the settings on any welder I’d use. WRONG!!I struggled getting decent welds on a couple of off-road light bars..cussing about buying this welder and had made up my mind to send this welder back to Amazon. UNTIL!! I looked at the wire size setting knob and saw that I had the setting on .035 instead of .030..the wire diameter I was using. Yup…welds started looking like welds.Be sure I’m impressed now with welder performance. But!! Build your world….don’t get in a rush you’ve got to lay down your bead and stitch the metal parts. This welder gets plenty hot to penetrate and burn into the metal parts. Though this welder you need to not try and fill large gaps. You can by layering but it is slow with repeated start/stop spit type welds. So..slow and steady is the game with this welder. You get a lot of features and accessories with this setup. Read the instructions! And if you have scrap steel to practice on..do! But this rascal does indeed perform.Very satisfied!!

Love it.
Very convenient. Learned very quickly that the brand of welding wire is very important. Bought a tool chest to to carry the welder and accessories except the mask. UPDATE: I covered the cable in heat resistant wire loom. That cable is really light weight.

Poor workmanship
Updated 03/09/22: I had trouble feeding wire on with the spool that came with machine. Today I tried to load a new spool and could not get it to load. Started taking it apart to find the glich and found the wire guide in the handle was twished nearly shut. That's just poor workmanship and quality control. I cannot get handle back together, they must have ajig to assemble so it was not designed to be repaired. Again I repeat, had they paid more attention to the product it could have been good. Would I buy again - hell no.Why could they have not spent 5-cents for decent instructions. I was having trouble getting wire to feed. Even YouTube didn't point me to the problem. The solution was simple, why don't instructions say so? Wire would feed what appeared to be the length of hose then would hang. Fix? Take off nozzle press trigger to advance wire through opening, THEN select correct nozzle size for the wire and thread wire through it and screw nozzle back to handle. Tomorrow I'll try to strike my first arc and may amend my rating upward. Revision: Maybe I should have known the nozzle has to come out first. I just completed some welding and the unit works fine. I'm wasting some wire because I am holding too far away from material I'm, welding. My stick welding experience causing me to do this, I'll adjust. So I've raised the overall rating to 4 stars. Aside from my initial rough start, it's doing the job for which I bought it. It does do a better job on sheet metal than I've been able to do with a stick.

Power house
This little guy is a power house. I dont think anything else in its class has this much power.Inhave very little bad to say about it.. but i will mention a couple thing just people know why im not giving it 5 stars.#1!! Odd adjustment. I dont understand tgeir thinking with the adjustments on this machine. A simple current and wire speed would be prefered to whatever the non sense on this guy is#2!! Being a small and versitile welder, it will be taken into odd places to get jobs done. I would apprciate a quick detachment at the machine for the mig gun side#3!! No possibility for shielding gas without major homebrew motification. Not a big deal as this welder has a specific use case. But those with only one weldwr would probably apprciate being able to add thst later , (just add a second welder to your arsenal... Whats better than one weldwr? Two!Oh and she is hot! Hard to weld on small stuff. Its borderline difficult to even tack something small as thing little box breaths more fire rhan that red head you took to jr prom. Gotta be quick on your toes with this one or she'll melt holes in your life
