G29 Review
It delivers an excellent balance of quality, performance, and affordability, making them a top choice for casual sim racers and beginners. Works fine for most setups, but a racing stand or cockpit is highly recommended for optimal use.

Read this if this is your first wheel
Let's get the veggies out of the way first. Delivery was fast (1 day!). Packaging was NOT satisfactory. The box looked like someone sat upon it. Someone who isn't holding back on calories. Box was bent at sides, the taping was coming off.Thankfully, the wheel, pedals and wires themselves showed absolutely no sign of damage. I could have returned it, but gave it a try and it worked. Nothing creaked or groaned, so ultimately decided to keep it.Now, the desserts.First of all, if you are connecting this to PS4, and have multiple profiles/accounts set up on your machine, the wheel will NOT work at first. None of the buttons will work. In that case, just press the "Playstation" button on wheel. That'll take you to profile selection. On that page, the buttons on wheel should work, so select your profile and everything should be good to go. Lost a chunk of my sanity to this.Secondly, get rid of belief that you'll instantly drive better with wheel than with controller. It's hard (at first). Cars seem twitchy, and like to go all over the place. Set a qualification record doing a few laps with controller, and try to see how close you can come to that with wheel. That should give you an idea of where you're at. I tried my favourite track 5 times, and am still behind my controller record by almost 2 seconds.Regarding the wheel itself, there's nothing special. i.e. it works like it should. Has good force feedback and is built of good quality materials. The foot pedals turned out to be lot heavier than I expected them to be, which is a good thing, since they don't slip easily (on tiles). The force feedback is basically when wheel become hard to turn if you try to go against the car's wishes. And becomes completely free if your car is slipping. So in short, a representation of car's traction with road. Having driven cars, I can say it's not exact copy, but if I can learn this and be good with it in games.FF is notchy. This is a gear driven wheel. When wheel is trying to oppose you, and you still turn it, you'll feel little bumps/notches as you turn it. Basically, not smooth. But it doesn't seem to keep the fun away. It still gets a lot of force across.Regarding latency, I felt none. The steering wheel on screen seems to follow in perfect sync. Even the slightest turn of wheel (single digit degree angles) is picked up in perfect sync by the game (GT Sport). There are better wheels in market. Though as with most things, you get what you pay for. A direct drive has so much force it can dislocate your wrist. But it also cost upwards of a lakh, last I checked. The closest competitor T300 is a belt drive, and by all accounts, should give you a better experience. It's still 15-20 thousand more expensive. So there's that. One more interesting fact - the foot pedals make more of a difference than the wheel in my short time with it. Of course wheel is fun. But precise foot pedal controls mean I can drive a decent car without traction control on my second-third try. And the pedals are of VERY good quality. The platform is hard plastic. Pedal face and stem are metal.Overall, even though the beginning is slow, I enjoyed the experience right from my first race. I'm looking forward to a great time with this wheel, and hoping to improve my times soon. It's an easy recommendation from me, provided you actually are looking for a wheel. Know that you don't "need" a wheel to be competitive, at least in GT Sport. It's just makes experience better and more immersive. It does make some things easier, but ultimately there's no substitute for practice. If you're looking just to have fun though, ignore what I said and buy this.Feel free to comment with any questions.

No regrets. Great value and great fun!!
The media could not be loaded. This is my first racing wheel and I am more than satisfied with it. I play mostly sim and simcade racing games and have tried the wheel with these games - Forza Motorsport 7, Dirt Rally 2.0, BeamNg Drive, Asseto Corsa and F1 2020. Setup was simple plug and play with all the games except Asseto Corsa after installing Logitech G hub tool. There was some additional mapping that had to be done in game for Asseto Corsa. Now, in terms of performance I'll break down my observations as follows -1. Steering accuracy is excellent and provides just the right amount of sensitivity to have superior control on the cars in game. The wheel diameter is small but not so much that it would feel like a toy. Also, the smaller diameter probably helps in feeling a lot more torque on your hands from the force feedback.2. The force feedback felt a little weird to me initially since I was expecting the same steering wheel feedback you would get in a real car. But I got used to it overtime and now it seems fine. I was surprised with the force feedback strength however. Based on reviews on the internet I was expecting it to be weak. But it is not. Especially if it's your first wheel you will be surprised by how strong it feels sometimes.3. The detailing in ffb I found out is very much dependent on the game. Dirt Rally 2 and Asseto Corsa provided me with the best ffb detail.4. The wheel has paddle shifters on the wheel and I found them satisfactory. They are a bit mushy but still have a clicky feeling to it which is nice.5. The pedals, firstly look very premium! The retractable grip on the bottom of the pedals was really useful in securing it on the floor directly on tiles. It didn't move around much. Although having some support behind it is always useful to prevent it from sliding especially on pressing the brake pedal.6. Now the brake pedal is hard for sure. Pressing it upto around 50% is fine but beyond that you either need to have it secured nicely on a frame or you need to press it slightly from the top so that the whole pedal base does not move away from you.7. The Accelerator and Clutch pedals are good and won't give you much trouble.8. Now the achilles heel of this racing wheel. The buttons. They are bad! The A, B, X, Y buttons (I mean the PS counterparts for these) are Ok. The DPad is workable. But the rest of them are just bad. The rotary dial absolute garbage. The + - buttons and the button inside the rotary dial are good however.

1.5 Year Review
The media could not be loaded. Bought this product from this listing more than 1 year back. I haven't faced any major issues. There was an issue with throttle input fluctuations in between. I had to remove the foot plate and put some wd40 onto the throttle input potentiometer. It seems like a common issue and there are many detailed YouTube videos for the steps to fix it. After that I haven't faced any issues till now. Works like a charm. Once u start playing on the wheel, you will never go back to the controller. I used to have a G25. It's shifter works with the G29 as well. The buttons on the shifter don't work but the shifter works fine, so saved some money there. I play gt7, crew motorfest, nfs, assetto corsa, grid etc on this wheel and thoroughly enjoy it. A must have for any racing gamer. The stand also was purchased on Amazon and came with hard points and screws necessary to fix the G29 onto it. Everything is screwed down and holds well. I have a regular gaming chair but had to swap out the wheels on the chair for fixed legs so that the chair doesn't move away when braking hard on the wheel. These are also available for low price on Amazon.
