This product was purchased for my partner and arrived next day in excellent packaging. I've only used disposable razors before so i gave her new one a try. It was the easiest and cleanest shave i've ever had. We coupled this product with Astra double edge superior platinum blades which made shaving a lot faster as two edges allow two passes over your hair before cleaning the blade. The assembly is sturdy with good weight to the handle. At first it might seem cumbersome however when actually shaving the weight distribution makes it extremely comfortable. The ridges on the handle serve as a good grip even with shaving cream on it! Gents, i would highly recommend switching to this sort of razor. I was hesitant at first as it seemed more dangerous, but if you are appropriately careful you will not cut yourself. It's considerably cheaper to replace blades than disposable razors and much better for the environment. Even the packaging is net carbon neutral (so it says) so treat yourself without any guilt!

Total Newbie here, I was petrified of using this but it's amazing! I asked my husband to help set the razor up as i was so scared of cutting myself on the blades - But once in the razor it feels safe.1) The instructions state to go with the grain not against, so it is strange getting used to the new direction of shaving.2) I kept it at 30' angle which is what the instructions state, and this worked really well. I didn't cut myself at all which is surprising for me!3) It feels heavy but that gives the pressure needed to shave, you don't need to press hard at all.4) It's stylish, comfortable, works perfectly and if you follow the above then you'll have no issues.5) Unsure if this will remove my red bumps and lumps that I usually have on my legs but hopefully after consistent use this will improve.Enjoy - It's great! Would make a nice gift too. Well made and good quality.

Took minutes to get used to the weight, and the handle is shorter than the disposable ones I had been using but I love it.

Bought to replace a Mutiny safety razor. The Mutiny razor had been over-tightened a few times, creating a bend in the top piece that subsequently bent the blade in the centre and I was fed up of it gauging out my skin. (I'm a woman so I use it on my legs mainly)So I bought this one to replace it and it's so good. The parts are much more substantial so there's no chance I'll bend the blade and the shape of the top makes the shave so smooth. I haven't nicked myself shaving once since starting to use it. The colour and finish is gorgeous as well. I'd 100% recommend.

I guess I didn’t really understand that throw away shavers very ‘safety razors’ 😂 quite a few cuts when I first shaved my legs so just be warned but it’s a great razor, I got the green colour and it’s lovely. So much better than disposable razors, just go a little easy on your first shave!

Much better then my previous safety razor. Way, way better then my electric.I think it is better my previous safety razor due to its weight, you can just ‘rest’ it on your skin and move it around, you don’t need to press down.Also, the little stand it comes with is great.I would much rather buy this then have to keep buying disposable razors, or razors with really expensive multi-blades.

Clean shaven as long as you keep it at an angle, nice.

The blade is a smooth shave however it isn't entirely as advertised, it's not perfectly weighted as mentioned being more top heavy and the grip can often be slippery in the shower often resulting in me dropping the razor. It also doesn't prevent ingrown hairs at all and on more awkward areas of the body I often find I cut myself more compared to a disposable or Guillette razor and those cuts bleed a lot and for a while. I'm honestly too afraid to use this on more intimate areas now as it has a tendency to miss areas or cut even when using a light pass over.Although I do appreciate that I don't have to change the blades as often, you do have to be very careful changing the blades to avoid cutting yourself very badly and I find I still have to use a disposable razor anyway on some areas.
