Glass paint pens
I use it all the time to draw on my stained glass items. When used as directed it’s permanent.

Nice set but transparent
I liked the colors and the set was easy to use. I guess it would work good for stained glass. I thought the paint was thicker. I was making lines on my wine glasses. I dont think it works well for that. Good paint for transparency

As if writing on paper but permanent
The media could not be loaded. It is very much like a sharpie or any thicker felt tip pen. But there is a valve. First you have to push the tip down to let the ink out. Otherwise the tip is white and dry. The tip can almost disappear into the pen body when you open the valve. Be careful or you will lost some ink. But any unwanted ink can be rinsed off in cold running water fast.Once the tip has color, it is very much like using a sharpie. WYSIWYG. I was worrying about fading in the baking process and later daily washing. I applied a lot of ink to make the letters "thick". It is totally unnecessary. You can apply very lightly to see the frost effect. You can see all the brush stroke so it would be suitable for an "artist".The instructions on the pen is of course very small. You should search for the website instructions if you need to. Degrease the glass is only necessary if you are "painting" a big picture. It's hardly required if you write small letters as long as you wash it with detergent first. Baking soda is a very good degrease agent. Sprinkle some powder on wet glass or wet sponge, wipe gently and then rinse thoroughly. The glass need not be absolutely dry because the ink has water in it too.Dry the ink for 24 hours and then put it in oven when cold. Bake at 325 F for 40 minutes after the temperature is reached (that's what I did). Let it cool slowly after that. The color / pattern looks exactly like it was before the ink was dry.I put the glasses in the dish washer every day for a week now and it doesn't seem to make any difference.

Excellent!
I love Pebeo paints, the richness of the colors and their quality. Thank you!

Absolutely great. Does not disappoint.
I have used Pebeo Vitrea brand glass paints in the past and loved them. If you are crafty, want to make fine details, or thick/opaque (layered) coverage, then I would suggest using the paints instead, These glass paint pens did not disappointed. They are so easy to use. I let my kids use them to make gifts. They go on transparent, like stained glass, and cannot be layered, imagine trying to layer a whiteboard/dry erase pen. If you make a mistake, use a damp paper towel and wipe away. If the paint has dried, it may take a fingernail to chip it off or heavy pressure. It's basically a thick (1.2mm) felt tip pen. And it really is as easy as draw and bake. Dishwasher safe, it has never chipped or faded on me.Kids can easily draw on cups, plates, bowls, ornaments.Tip for infants: when you're baby is napping, color one finger tip, then press that finger tip onto your glass project. Of course, wash the finger promptly with soap and water (I use a soapy rag, so I don't have to move a sleeping baby.).

Very disappointing...beads formed while painting every time.
I have used the Vitrea 160 paints before but the pens were quite disappointing. Either the pen continually shed fabric while in use or the paint itself created small balls that gathers on the glass I was painting on...and this was after the glass had been thoroughly cleaned. I tried using this on several different glass items and found the same effect every single time I used it. It was quite frustrating, particularly when the pens are quite expensive. Very disappointed in this product!

Well Worth the Cost
I purchases these markers for my 5 and 6 year old sons to decorate coffee mugs for their grandparents for Christmas. We had seen the "Pins" on Pinterest that suggested using Sharpies, but, with some research, found out that Sharpies wash off; even after baking. We have decorated six or seven cups with these Pebeo markers and I'm very impressed with how well they work! My boys had no problems using them. And, after letting them dry for 24 hours and then baking them according to the directions on the box (make sure you allow the cups to heat and AND cool down with the oven) we washed them and everything stayed on! We did not attempt the dishwasher and I think we'll stick with hand-washing. The drawings are not smooth like a cup you would purchase in the store, so I'm assuming that at some point, probably quite awhile down the road, the design may start to wear off, but we're just going to advise our family to hand-wash only and try not to wash the outside as much as possible to ensure the design stays. I would definitely purchase these markers again!
