Was in need for a gas stove, since the old one had been asking for retirement after so many years of service. Looking at the size of my kitchen/slab, my preference was 3-burner stove. Went for this product trusting brand name. Have been using it for many months. Look-wise, the stove looks fine. It's black colour, which gleams once you can it after use. Size-wise it fits well on the slab. Initially it was working fine. But after some days knobs became so tight that every time we tried to switch them on/off the, we feared they might break under pressure. Then contacted the service centre. They sent a guy who did not know how to rectify the problem. Contacted them again. This time the person they sent solved the problem in no time. He said the knobs had jammed. He greased them and they became smooth to switch on/off. But we wondered why the knobs at the first place got jammed so soon. Anyway, no other issue has ever since arisen. Glass top is good, it's easy to clean the stove. There are no scratches on the the glass even after such prolonged use. However, again I feel one knob has started jamming. Maybe some grease issue again....

Got this product delivered on 4th March, 2018. Got it for 4000 rupees. This product is truly value for money. Nicely packed with all safety measures and timely delivery.Inquired the price for the same model in the local market, it ranged between 5000 to 6000.Talking about the product: Its genuine, has a valid warranty card. Quality of the burners and utensil supports is premium. Overall build quality is very nice (glass base and entire body). Got 3 extra utensil supports for small utensils.Overall I am very happy with the product and would love to order from Amazon again.

It started rusting after 2 months of use

I bought this stove approx. a couple of months back. It was regrettable that we could not test within a fortnight of delivery if it was working and when we did, one among the three burners was not working. However, prestige customer service was good and prompt. A technician visited our house within 48 hours of calling the toll free number. He quickly repaired what seemed to be a small clogging issue. They assured of taking care of all such issues within two years of purchase, i.e., the warranty period.

Had initial issues where the knob was getting stuck. Had to call the service center. They did come promptly and addressed the issue. But this was not expected from a new purchase. Still, it is not a perfect sort of operation that I have a feeling about this. Quality shall improve for sure.

I received this project from Amazon and I started using it in normal course. From first day itself I was suspecting a gas leakage however I ignored thinking Prestige is a quality brand and I should not think about gas leakage in a high cost quality tested product. I kept using it for about two weeks from date of receipt.One day I put on pressure cooker to have Khichdi for me and went to finish my other pending household work. After about 10 mins when I did not hear pressure cooker whistle, I went into kitchen to check and I was complete shocked. Gas stove was off, whole kitchen was full of gas and plastic nob of one burner which I was using was completely melt with other surrounding plastic parts! It didn’t take a second for me to understand that my doubt was correct and there was a gas leak from stove nob and due to this nob caught fire and melt.With a forceps I somehow turned the nob off but still there was a smell of gas. I opened doors and windows for some time so that confined gas goes out. After that when I used a lighter to see if gas still leaking, I was more surprised to see that even in turned off state, I was able to lit the gas stove. This can be seen in the pics I attached. If you are thinking about buying this stove, just imagine about the consequences this incident might have. I was lucky enough that there was nothing inflammable around gas stove otherwise the situation would have been worst.I complained Amazon about this and they simply told to go to Prestige. When Prestige technician came, I told him that this product was defective from day one but they were not ready to understand. They just repaired it with visible marks of repairing (uneven nobs, different color). So ultimately I got a repaired product in the cost of 4000 rupees.Besides this, even if I talk about the overall quality of the product, it doesn’t appear to worth spending 4000 rupees. You can find similar quality product in 2000-2500 rupees from other companies.All in all it is a bad buy for me and I would definitely not like to recommend this product to anybody.

Been using it for more than a week, good product, worth the price, the knobs r a little hard but its definately worth the price..the burners r spaced quite properly and are easyto cleanEdit : I'm updating my review after using the prestige burner for over a week.
