So you know how you can spend hundreds on a curler and a straightener - well, this little thing does the most you could do at around this price range and I am pleasantly surprised of how good it works. Yes, products that cost 20 times more do a slightly better job and are easier to use (I won't be naming any names but you all know which one I'm talking about), but spending less money and getting almost similar performance is better than spending a lot of money and getting a slight improvement.I would recommend this "Wavemaker" for anyone who is on a budget, although keep in mind that this thing is pretty massive, so you better have a place to store it and it is definietely not travel-friendly, BUT it works really well.

We have an unofficial hair salon in our kitchen as my partner cuts three of her sisters' hair - so we always have a use for hair cutting and styling gadgets.This is great - it's like a big curling iron with three hot prongs that you can use to weave hair through and style into waves ... like the product says, it's a wave maker!Pros:* Multiple heat settings* Light in weight, despite overall large size of the entire device* Good quality construction, doesn't seem like anything was skimped onCons* It's big - too big to travel with, but I appreciate it's the size it is to be effective. I was surprised how big it was when it was delivered!* Auto shutoff - why is it 60 minutes? I didn't test what happens if we just leave this thing turned on and sitting on the countertop, but it gets hot and I'd think it should shut off after say 10 minutes max.Verdict: Most important thing is that it works and does what it promises to do. I'd post before and after pictures of the last family member who got the treatment last night but they are shy!

I'll purchase these after seeing them online multiple times. it's fair to say I'll slightly disappointed as the appearance of my waves were nothing in comparison to whst I sad expecting the tongs themselves work okay. however I found they took a while to reach temperature. And the barrel was heavy making it harder to use.

At this price I wasn't expecting miracles but this is actually a great appliance. It's only drawback is that it is quite large so not the easiest thing to store. I struggle doing the back of my head when trying to create waves with a straightener, so this has come in really handy for making waves all over my head. It creates a lovely loose beachy wave effortlessly. It heats up fast and feels like a durable product.

My teenage niece loves doing her hair with this, it would make a fab gift. It's simple to use and creates a lovely wave in the hair. It's pretty straightforward to use but it took a few goes to get the knack as such but it greats a really pretty look.

I am useless trying to do my own hair, seen these wavemaker things on social media and thought it might be worth a shotIt is lightweight and actually fairly easy to use, even for those of us lacking in co-ordination. I like that there are different heat settings so don't feel like hair is being absolutely fried and can manage to do a decent job reaching all around my head. Result is not exactly fresh-from-a-salon, but definitely more beachy waves and they lasted the full day

This item is rather large compared to normal curling tongs as it has three barrels. This is good for curling but it makes it a little large to be used for travel. If you are inexperienced with curling tongs and using this on yourself you need to be careful not to get the barrels to close to you scalp as there is a risk of burning, I was worried about this so I kept to lower temperatures.I did not really understand the oil infusion part and where the oil was and if any more can be added.There is a safety cut off if you leave the tongs on but when I forgot to turn them off and went for a coffee they were still on 20 minutes later.

I'm very pleased with this wave maker. Lightweight, easy to use and very effective. I have medium length hair and in few minutes I'm able to create lovely waves on my hair which last all day long. Great quality and value for money. Highly recommended
