Very comfortable chair! I love that it’s made of fabric and feels sturdy. The ability to lounge back or tilt yourself more upright is also a plus. I had an issue with my back pillow and the company was quick to resolve the problem with no hassle. I would definitely order this chair again as it’s one of the more comfortable chairs I’ve ever owned.

The media could not be loaded. Okay, so let me start off by saying, WOW! What an UPGRADE!This is an upgrade I baught to replace my 4 year old office chair from staples, which wasn't bad, and lasted a long time, before it started creaking real loud and could barely roll.(Now the review I'm giving on this chair is only day 1... I'll come back and update this once the chair has become defective to actually give a better comparison to the $90 dollar Staples chair.) But for now on I am going to just focus on this chair...First the assembly was way easier than I had originally expected after receiving the large box full of different parts, It was only about four pages long, with only seven steps...Once I had finished assembling, which was pretty easy, the first time I sat on it was honestly a little scary, for when I was assembling the base, all the legs wouldn't snap into place. I assumed they were supposed to be a little crooked to hold the legs up, but when I sat down they all went snapping into place which made a scary noise...Other than that the chair is super soft, and I was skeptical about leaning back too far at first, but it seems to have great stability, and make me feel secure and not about to topple over.I am also impressed by the footrest which is also pretty comfortable to have out while the chair is fully reclined.This chair is pretty decent for the price so far, and the only complaint I have is for the massage pillow, which seemed to have broken on day one and/or has came broken from factory. Now I'm going to try to explain this the best I can, the rollers inside the pillow, the one on the left side seems to be a bit faulty, every 4th rotation it becomes weak and starts clicking really loud as if the gear is grinding. And this is with light pressure too! So basically the massage mode is rendered useless to me, for if I try using it normally all I'll relieve is a grinding gear, which would most likely worsen over time.In conclusion, the chair is amazing (so far) but the massager is trash/useless.4/5 stars for me!

A wire Broke after having it a few days

I was in the market for a new chair. Initially I was looking for a standard computer chair till I noticed that gaming chairs were next level 😂 I had already spent hours/days deciding on a new chair when I considered this one. I also HATE to buy chairs and furniture online because you just never know if it will really be comfortable and work out for you when it’s sight unseen. I spend hours at my laser working on projects and liked that the one chair I was using reclined way back but I needed an ottoman which was annoying. I also have 2 bulging discs in my lower back which make sitting for long periods of time unbearable. I’m 5’7 and between 200-240 lbs so the chair I was looking for needed to accommodate my hips. This one does nicely with about and extra inch wiggle room. I was worried that the cushion would be also be too firm and irritate my tailbone and discs. So far I’ve been sitting in my new chair for about 2 hours now and I have no issues. The the seat is firm but cushy too. I love the feel of the fabric, it’s soft, plush and velvety. The arm rests are at a very comfortable height and position and I really like the curvature of them. I went for the cloth fabric vs PU fabric because I have cats and cats love their claws 😂 I knew the cloth would be more forgiving of punctures from them. The head pillow is a little bulky when sitting upright but otherwise it’s at a nice position for video games or reclined seating in general. The 2 reclining positions are also comfortable. I LOVE the lumbar pillow! And that it secures to the seat so it won’t slip and I can slide it up or down to fit comfortably. My favorite feature with it is that it has a heated message option 🤩 That was literally the deciding factor for me when comparing this one to other brands. Plus I was able to snag this one when it was on sale 👏🏻 I had to compromise on a color that was not my first choice to get the sale price but the comfort makes up for it. This is my first purchase of a Downix product and I am impressed. Quality, comfort and elegance all in one! I love the embroidery on the back and seat. Overall it is very well built and it rolls oh so nicely on my new life proof floors! 🤩 I will look to purchase again them first for future purchases when the need arises.

I ordered this chair because of the appealing price point, and having a suede material that I find works best with having cats. Box was well packaged and nothing was damaged. Assembly was easy and instructions easy to read. HOWEVER, when everything was assembled, there was a hideous gap between the back and bottom (you can see the gap on other review pictures). I could not stand to look at that gap. I ended up revering the bracket that attaches the two halves and closed that ugly gap, and retain all functions. I believe this is an error in the instructions. I also found the massaging pillow to be backwards as well. All in all, I am happy with the chair and will update if anything changes.

UPDATE: After a month of use the chair has actually been quite uncomfortable and caused upper back pain. Changing my review to one star, I would avoid this chair and I’ll probably looking to buy a different one.——I don’t know if I got a bad batch, but the quality is definitely lacking. To start I first noticed a small hole in the front of the seat, there was no hole in the plastic that covered the part so I know this was not caused by me. After finally putting it together I hadn’t even sat in it yet I saw that the pad on the left armrest had become slightly detached from the arm of the chair.Other than that the chair is very easy to put together.

Decent for the price.
