Tasty and quality balsamic and garlic olive oil.
This is a well presented gift set, containing balsamic vinegar and garlic olive oil. The balsamic is thick, sweet and balanced acidity. The olive oil has a roasted garlic flavour, ideal for brushing onto bread and toasting. Both are tasty and see regular use on salads, bruschetta etc. The value seems good, and I'd have no problem gifting this to a friend or colleague.

Glass Bottles are Great!
Very tasty and giftable. I especially like the thickness of the balsamic! I don't think this is a first cold-pressed Olive Oil, but it does taste very fresh and comes in a glass bottle (they both do), which I appreciate.

Delicious!!!
Brilliantly boxed in velvet and extremely tasty, this olive oil & sweet balsamic vinegar reduction are super tasty and they don’t leave a weird aftertaste like so many low quality olive oils do. Sweet notes and a nutty buttery flavor that is light and finishes cleanly is the flavors I tasted when dipping bread into the olive oil. The balsamic is super thick, a really gradual reduction that must have taken some time, and that is really pleasantly very sweet! An awesome contrast and compliment to the oil at the same time!Very pleased with this product and totally Recommend it and would happily share it with friends or give as a gift in the future!

Very nice olive oil and balsamic gift set
This is a very nice gift set of olive oil and balsamic vinegar. I comes in a nice wooden box that is a keeper. I came well wrapped with the wooden box inside another box and then the whole thing in a shipping box. So it arrived in perfect condition. The olive oil from California is excellent. It is smooth and light. The balsamic vinegar is also excellent. It has perfect viscosity for dipping and for salads. It has just the right amount of fruitiness without being too oaky and heavy. It is perfect in my opinion. It is a bit pricey, but the excellent taste and quality is worth it, especially for special for special dinners. And it is a great gift for anyone who appreciates quality.

Many cracked displayed boxes
Ordered several items as gifts, but unfortunately, 50% of the presentation boxes were cracked. The wood itself is thin understandably. While there was no broken glass or leaks, indicating good packing, half of the items are not presentable without discarding the boxes and finding alternative arrangements for the oils. The quality of the contents themselves was not the issue. However, will not be ordering any additional units and do not recommend this product unless presentation wood box can be revised on the top (lid). This experience has been an unfortunate waste of effort and time. Really loved the gifting idea.

Beautiful presentation, mid product
This is a boxed set of 250 ml bottles of California extra virgin olive oil and barrel aged balsamic vinegar, from Blazing Bella. It arrived in perfect condition and factory sealed. The wooden box this set comes in makes for a really nice presentation. Inside, the bottles are carefully protected by black velvet covered foam. The bottles and labels are attractive. The olive oil pours an appropriate green color, but it has a very bland flavor and little character. It has no bitter, peppery, floral, or nutty notes as would be usually expected of good olive oil. There is a very mild olive flavor. Interestingly, the company describes the olive oil as "cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil sourced from small organic farms in California". Note that they do not say that their olive oil is organic, but they try to imply that it is and it borders on deception. They also describe their olive oil as "refreshing" which seems a strange way to describe olive oil. The bottom line is that this olive oil is...fine, and nothing special. The balsamic vinegar pours syrupy and dark. It is less acidic than most, only 4.5%. It is sweet and has little bite due to the low acid, and it does taste good. The company says it is "aged in Modena, Italy in chestnut, oak, and juniper barrels and then imported to the United States. 100% Balsamic Vinegar of Modena." They also refer to it as a "traditional balsamic". The term "Traditional Balsamic" (capital T and B) has a legal definition and is strictly regulated. It requires certifications that this balsamic vinegar does not have. There are no certifications whatsoever on the label. But note that they also say this is "100% Balsamic Vinegar of Modena". "Balsamic Vinegar of Modena" is another legally defined term. It is used for less expensive balsamic vinegars that vary wildly in quality, have fewer rules about their geographic source, and need only be aged for 60 days, versus 12 YEARS for Traditional Balsamic. Using the phrase "traditional balsamic" (small t and b) in describing a product that is Balsamic Vinegar of Modena, once again, borders on deception.Note that I'm not saying this olive oil and this balsamic don't taste good. They do actually taste pretty good, but they are not as fancy, or as good, as they try to appear. This set would still be a nice gift for someone who enjoys food and cooking, but isn't necessarily knowledgeable about details of ingredients. However, at its current price of $59.99 as of the time I'm writing this, it seems like not a great value for basically 8 oz of average olive oil and 8 oz of uncertified balsamic.
