I am impressed with the sturdiness and lightness of this ramp! It folds in half for easy storage and is so light to carry! I have a friend who must use a scooter due to MS and this ramp makes it possible for her to continue having the freedom to visit my home!

I live I a old house and I needed something to move my 500 pound tool box from my open car port to my shed and this works great it bulges in the middle on both sides but some time and a 3 pound hammer fixes all thatWould recommend buying some spray on grip stuff really helps but I'm beating my to death

We have a storm door which will not close with this ramp. We will need to remove the side panel which requires a special tool. Once this is removed you will not be able to lock the portable ramp in place when transporting. We do not plan on transporting so this is not a problem for us. The ramp appears to be well made. However it has not been used yet.

Sturdy and easy to handle. Easy to take with you in the car if you're not sure of the entrance, especially at a home or a non business. I'd give it 10+ stars!Note: we have a transport chair, (not a wheelchair) and it fits perfectly.

4FT Portable Wheelchair Ramp, Non-Slip Aluminum Folding Handicap Ramp, 800 LBS Capacity Door Threshold Ramps for Home Steps, Scooter Ramp for Car, Doorways, Curbs, Stairs, Cart, Wheel Chair Ramp StepsI ordered this wheelchair ramp on October 13th, arrived on October 30th, via UPS, left at our front gate, cardboard box was crushed on the corners but ramp was intact and undamaged.I have a preexisting medical condition that requires my using a manual or power assisted wheelchair (have three). I do have an aluminum threshold ramp at our front door but I am losing strength and range of motion in my arms so no longer can negotiate that ramp without assistance (pitch is too steep) so needed to order a longer ramp with a less severe pitch, this ramp meets those requirements as I did (long time ago) have a four foot wood ramp so was already aware that I would be easily able to negotiate this ramp although I would have preferred it be a little wider.Nice non slip surface, has warning strip on raised edge (treat only as a visual guide because you can still fall over the edge since wheelchair wheels are large), decent handle, prefer full length piano hinge but I guess the hinge is sufficient, don’t care for the pin type latch (pinch point) but it does guarantee that the ramp won’t open during transport, only about 21 pounds so not too heavy. Is weight rated at 800 pounds which is way less then competition and if the User is a large person on a heavy duty scooter, might be right around max weight. It would have been nice if the manufacture installed a rubber edge on the ends, which would protect flooring during storage (entire house is laminate flooring which easily scratches).Note: I installed OTC vinyl car door edge guard, is cheap.The suggested MSRP is about average in price if ordering off the internet. I did prior own a folding heavy duty 4’ aluminum wheelchair ramp that was weight rated at 1200 pounds but it was HEAVY and difficult to store, so the trade off is a lighter duty folding wheelchair ramp. I weight about 210 pounds and my wheelchair weighs about 40 pounds, so well within the weight rating for this ramp but there is still some flex. I am giving it a 4 Star rating, minus 1 point because lower weight rating and prefer slightly wider width (when using manual wheelchair sometimes unable to go straight up) and lack of protection on the ends.
