Closes the door!
These work perfect for an interior door. I dont know how well they would work on an exterior door that has foam padding around it. They might not offer the strength to compress the padding enough to latch. They adjust and install very easily. They did seem a tad bit thicker than my original hinges which caused the door to slightly rub the frame when closing. Sanded that area of the door frame, added a bit of paint and it solved the issue. This is of no fault of the item, just offering the remedy I used. The finish matches the other hinges in my house perfectly.

My family hates, I love
These work great and makes sure my door closes. My family hates it because they want to leave to door open partially. If they are really careful they can get the door not to latch but it beats them walking out the door and leaving it wide open when it is freezing outside and warm inside.

Easy and Functional
Great build quality. Looks are awesome. Adjustment is easy. They work very well. I put 2 on one door and there are no problems with the door closing.

Easy to Install and Adjust the Spring Tension.
I bought these to replace the hinges in my garage door. I realized the old door is not self-closing as required by code or have lost its spring tension over the years.I found these on Amazon not knowing what to expect but was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to replace the old hinges with these new ones. The spring tension adjustment was easy to make with the supplied wrench, rod and pin. The instruction pamphlet was not written well but I eventually figured it out.These hinges are UL certified ANSI Grade material which have no problem operating the garage door. It comes with mounting screws in brushed nickel, which is a nice touch. They also provided short sheet metal screws, which I have no idea what they are for.I liked them so much I'm buying two more sets for the bathroom and mudroom doors. For some reason, this vendor only carried these hinges in brushed nickel. The old hinges were gold plated. Since some of the doors will be painted white, so I didn't mind they are brushed nickel.
