Needed a fan to replace a 10 year old one that had died. Wanted one I could simply swap out without messing about drilling new holes. This fan did the job. Fitted in under 30 minutes and it quiet and efficient. Top marks

The fan is very useful as it is very powerful but doesn’t make a very loud sound. Compared to my old one, this is a lot better than it. It is very easy to install and use. It keeps the air ventilated and fresh. I would recommend it to my friends.

I brought this to instead previous one, previous one doesn’t have a timer, compared to this one the quality is much better, it make less noise, more quiet, it can be adjustable for the time from 0 to 60 minutes, it does more function than others. Stronger airflow. It perfectly fits the hole in toilet. The price is reasonable as well. Overall highly recommended!

This extractor fan with timer has such a tiny terminal block that you need to add another terminal block to take even thin lighting wires to the mains and to the switch. On my fan the "power on" red light is tiny and not visible from underneath so I am having to wire in a separate indicator light. Once installed the fan is effective and quiet.

The media could not be loaded. EINTTAX 100mm Bathroom Extractor Fan.Firstly, I must address the misleading IPX2 waterproof rating of this item. If you are using this fan in a bathroom/shower room in an area which is classed as Zone 2 (An area stretching 600mm outside the perimeter of the bath or shower and to a height of 2250mm from the floor), then this fan is not suitable. An IP rating of at least IPX4 is required.I installed mine in my utility room as a ceiling fan, so the above rating does not apply.It has replaced an older fan which sounded something like an aeroplane at take off !! (see my review video of before & after).Also if you are replacing an older fan, double check that your existing extraction/duct pipe is 100mm or 4 inches, as the diameter might be different.The fan itself was relatively easy to install, after removing the old fan it was simply a case of attaching the extraction pipe to the new fan, followed by screwing the fan itself to the ceiling, and then attaching the mains electrical cables (obviously with the power turned off), before finally attaching the vented cover plate.If you feel competent at installing it yourself, then the wiring is straightforward enough, but there is a wiring diagram in the instruction booklet if you are not sure. (please note that the text is so small that I had to take a photo with my smartphone and then zoom in to read it).There is a timer function which can be adjusted from 1-30minutes, which allows the fan to continue running after the power is switched off, this can be adjusted using the small screwdriver which is included in the box.The fan is quiet and operates at 34dB which doesn't sound any louder than my other "Envirovent silent bathroom fan" which has a sound output of only 26.5dB.Overall, this fan represents great value for money, it looks modern and it has a low noise output.

This appears at first to be a fairly standard extractor fan. Except, perhaps for the built-in shutter, missing from some competitors.They say ‘low-noise’ and ‘energy-saving’. That may well be true, given the 7-blade fan and low spin speed, burning just 12W (claimed).So far, so good – five stars perhaps. But, contrary to their claim, this does not meet the requirements for use in UK bathrooms. That’s really bad, because some buyers will read the description and trust it.A generous two stars rather than one, because it would be fine in other small rooms such as cloakrooms.
