Great kit , instructions for each plant. Excellent quality, and price . Makes a great gift.

This was a gift for my mum who had just learnt to crochet. The instructions were clear and helpful and the finished result is so cute!

This is a beautifully-presented kit with lovely colours, and seemingly includes everything needed to make the purple tulip bouquet, even right down to the wrapping paper. I think it would make an attractive gift for someone who has preferably already mastered the basics of crochet.I do think, however, that it's a steep learning curve for the true beginner, which happens to include me!There are a couple of printed booklets; one for crochet in general, and one for the specifics of how to complete this kit. Both have QR codes linking to YouTube tutorials, which are quite clear and high quality, and better than trying to work it all out from still pictures.There are over 1h 18 mins of videos just dealing with this specific kit, not including a general primer on crochet, so it's a lot for a complete novice to take in, and feels a bit intimidating.I'm not criticizing the tutorials, which I feel are helpful and nicely done (I think only the kit-specific ones were done by the company), but I feel a very long way from being ready to complete the kit.I really feel I want to do some practice pieces first, to get the hang of it, and the manufacturers claim it comes with extra yarn, so you don't have to worry about mistakes.But I don't know exactly how much extra, and therefore how much I can afford to waste on practice. I'm tempted to get some cheap yarn independent of the set, just to experiment, without fear I'm leaving myself short for the main project.This is advertised as an adult kit, and I do think that's fair, considering the relative complexity. 'Beginner', in this case, is unlikely to mean a child.At a current list price of £18.99 with a further 20% discount available, it's attractively priced.

This is a very comprehensive and cute kit. It comes with (almost) everything you need to make it: yarn, crochet hook, wires, pins, stitch markers, tape, tissue & wrapping paper, ribbon, etc., plus two books that cover basic crochet techniques and specific steps for the pattern. It’s very well presented and would make a great gift, which is why it’s a slight shame that the box it comes in isn’t branded/decorated (perhaps something for the makers to consider in the near future?).At first I thought that the instructions for the pattern were very basic and didn’t provide enough info and demonstrative pictures to people who haven’t crocheted over wire before, but I realized that full video step-by-step instructions are included via a QR code and are posted on YouTube.My only other comment is that the set includes two glue sticks, which is an assumption on the seller’s part that you own a glue gun. But it’s still possible for you to use other glue of your own. I guess providing the glue in this form ensure they don’t have to worry about it drying up or leaking, but it does mean some of their customers won’t have what is needed to use it. Other than that, this is a great item!

Value for money is great, however the instructions for the purple bouquet is the ones for the other bouquet so the instructions do not match the colours provided. This means that I am not sure which colour to use for which flower, which is important as there is different amounts of yarn of each colour.

This crochet kit came in a compact box with everything required to make the crochet flowers. The outer packaging was very appealing and I also liked how the instructions were very inclusive in the sense that many many guides only show instructions for right handed people. This one, interestingly states that you can hold a mirror against the booklet if you are left handed as it will reverse everything for you - it is something I had not thought about but found very insightful and useful as a left hander. I also really like how the instructions are very straightforward and simple, with a QR code to direct you to tutorials for those who need it.It also comes with the bouquet paper so you end up with the exact thing as shown in the listing which is pretty awesome. This kit is really well made with all the equipment from thread, sewing hooks, flowers, needles etc.In terms of pricing, I do feel that this set is very complete and well made in itself from presentation to what you get inside, so the current price of £18.99 at the time of review seems pretty worthwhile and reasonable to me. Hence, why I would recommend it to others!

Instructions are missing and I cannot find anything on you tube or online as to how I can do this without a pattern.

I am just learning to crochet and this is a brilliant kit has very easy to follow instructions with everything you need to make the flowers looking forward to getting started on them brilliant value would make an excellent gift for someone who loves crafts.
