The Fancy Version of the Best Value Air Cooler Available
I've got the 'plain' Phantom Spirit 120 in my 13600K work box and this EVO version in my home 13600K system. Both (and also the SE version) are basically the same - the tower is identical on all three (though the EVO is finished in all black) but the EVO fans are different. On paper, the TL-K12 fan has better specs but real-world testing shows the plain TL-C12 fans demonstrate very slightly better noise to cooling measurements. But they are all so close that all three versions offer about the same performance - which is so good that they top the list of most reviews.I'll be honest - I got the EVO for my home box because I'm vain and I think it looks good. I'm not a big disco RGB guy, but the illuminated arcs in the corners are a nice touch of RGB without going overboard or being too flashy. Likewise, the blacked out finish on the EVO looks a little more 'professional' than the plain stamped aluminum fins on the non-EVO coolers.I've typically used Noctua coolers on prior builds and I will say that there is a tangible level of overall build quality on Noctuas that these Thermalrights don't have... For example, the Phantom Spirit 120 SE version has a plastic backplate support, while the non-SE and EVO have steel backplates. The Noctua mounting hardware feels a tad higher quality and I think it installs a little easier than the Thermalright does. But this difference is really quite small and relatively inconsequential in the scheme of things - once you get the cooler on they all work as expected. The one area to watch is memory height - as mentioned, I'm not a big RGB guy so I have standard low profile ram. If your ram sticks are taller than 42mm you will need to raise the front fan to clear it. And there's little point to using a big cooler like this if you have rgb ram sticks because they'll be completely covered.Unless you are trying to cool an overclocked I9, these Phantom Spirit 120 coolers provide as good or better than an AIO without the cost, complexity or inevitable degradation that AIO's suffer from. They truly offer the best performance at the best value of all coolers on the market now. Pick any of the three versions (might as well go with the cheapest price you can find) and you'll be happy. Grab this EVO if you also want it to look good in the process.PS - if you are on the Intel platform, consider using a Thermalright support frame as well - they are soooo much better than the LGA socket brackets on any motherboard and help support the weight of these giant coolers.

Loose the AIO cooler!
Works great! Stays about 10° cooler than my AIO under heavy load. Very satisfied!

great cooler for 9950x
Under stress test, this cooler cools my 9950x at 70C at 105W eco mode, and keeps temperature at 85C when at 200W.
