This paint is very sparkly. Not traditional transparent watercolor. Great for special effects. Love the colors. Very pretty.

The first time that I saw these colors, the immediately thought of painting dragonflies. These are hand made watercolors that are beautiful, easily hydrated to paint with, and are made in the USA! I had a hard time deciding on what paint first.

I love love love these little sets. Not only is the quality for the price AMAZING. There is so much thought into the packaging, each is individually wrapped and comes with little magnets. I like the paint myself a little swatch to tape to the inside of the lid of the cute little tins. The paints are wonderful and very pigmented. For the price I will continue to buy these again and again!

Rich pigmented, I got the entire set. Wonderful quality. You can use it by itself, or after putting in an undercolor, you can add it as enhancement. It is hard to photograph, you have to see it on paper.

I love this little paint sent! The shimmer on these is so beautiful and the paint takes fairly little water to activate and become creamy. I loved it so much that I purchased a second set with a different color palette.

I had read other reviews that mentioned the lovely quality of the packaging and while I thought it was a nice "extra", I was surprised at how adorable it is! Each time I look at this tiny box of paints it makes me smile and that's before I even get to the actual paints.Every level of presentation is extremely well done. And the paints themselves are beautiful in all ways. I found them to be very easy to reconstitute, smooth to apply and sheer, not lumpy. I love the color selection in the Firefly Forest tin but all of the other options look just as enchanting. They have just the right amount of sheen to me without looking overdone or gaudy. And I feel that the price is very reasonable and good value for a product that is not only functional but fun to look at.This is the perfect gift for yourself or your artist friends. Who cares if you actually plan to paint with them, they're adorable to just look at. I never thought I'd write a review like this, but here it is.
