I recently got the VTech Kidizoom Smart Watch DX2 for my child, and it has quickly become one of their favorite gadgets! The watch is packed with fun, age-appropriate features that keep them engaged while also offering some great learning tools.The dual camera is a hit—my child loves taking selfies and videos, and the quality is quite good for a kids' device. The games are fun and educational, keeping them entertained during car rides or when we’re out and about. I also appreciate the pedometer and active challenges, which encourage them to stay active.The touchscreen is responsive, and the interface is easy enough for younger children to navigate without help. The design feels sturdy and well-made, which is reassuring for something that’s going to be used by a child. The only improvement I’d suggest is a longer battery life, as we find ourselves charging it a bit more frequently than expected.Overall, the Kidizoom Smart Watch DX2 is a fantastic choice for parents looking to combine fun and learning in a single device. Considering the relatively low price, I was concerned that the touch screen might be laggy. Having tested the watch, I'm pleased to report that it's certainly responsive enough. The Kidizoom Smart Watch is easy for young children to figure out and use: tapping the screen switches between digital and analog clock; swiping to the sides changes background (many options); home button brings up 'apps'; and the camera button does what you'd expect.The Smart Watch actually features 2 cameras (1 for selfies), and comes with a short USB charge cable, and an instruction booklet. Taking 3 hours to fully charge, battery life is good enough, but expect to charge every day with heavy usage. The included games and photo customisation options, make for an entertaining watch that is also durable and well presented.Offering so much more fun than an ordinary watch, the Kidizoom Smart Watch makes a great gift for a 5-7 year old. 5 Stars.Tip: Charge and set the time before wrapping it!If you found my review helpful, let me know.

Well packaged arrived in good time my 9 year old grandaughter loves it.Sturdy well made. Worth the money.

Highly surprised at the quality of this device - as a whole - especially for its price point, it's packed with features we wouldn't have thought it would have. Touch screen works fine for the kids, lots of games, even the horrid VTech Windows software isn't a necessity, but there's a fair bit extra you can even download into it for free on this particular product. All in all, it's a good little kids gizmo, worth the price point. Battery life is pretty good for its use, even when our daughter has been using it hard for the day it holds out well, only real con is the internal space - 5 meg - a few extra megabytes would definitely help, fills up quick when the kids are photo and video happy on it. Build quality is average as you'd expect, one good bash with it and that'll be it, barely any durability - but as with all techy things, look after them and it'll be fine.

Granddaughter loved it.

Bought for my twin nieces for 8th birthday. Product suggests younger but ideal for their age. They were delighted- within moments they were working through the applications, testing their steps and movement, keen to go for a walk 😁

I have just bought this for my granddaughter for Christmas,so am only able to comment on the look of the product. I will update the review in February regarding the battery life, touch screen and ease of use.Saying that, this is a Vtech product and I have bought a number of these products over the years and all have lasted a long time, some being passed down to younger children over time, and all still look brand new.Overall the packaging is excellent, you get a 360° view of the watch and it looks very robust with a nice pink strap that looks nice and thick.Based on previous vtech products I expect my granddaughter to absolutely love this - especially the fact she can take selfies!!I expect this to be another best seller for Vtech, and though it is quite pricey, based on other products I've bought I am expecting it to be well worth the money.I reckon this will sell out well before Christmas so if you want one I would suggest buying it ASAP
