I use my Thermomix in a motorhome and the board makes sure its stable. The hole for the spatula is so handy.

Does exactly what it should. Glides effortlessly and looks good.

I had high hopes for this sliding board for my Thermomix TM6 - it looks great. However, after placing the TM6 on the board and ensuring the feet lined up into the appropriate holes, I decided to check the scales were giving a correct reading. They were not. The measuring cup is supposed to weigh 80-85 grams. On the board, the TM6 weighed it at 30 grams! I then tried with the machine on the board but with nothing in the bowl - bizarrely, the scales started to go from 0 grams to minus 30 on their own accord! Removing the TM6 from the board, the scales worked perfectly. I spent time checking the feet of the TM6 and the power cord in case that was affecting the scales but every time I replaced the machine onto the board, I had the same result - the scales became inaccurate. Sadly, I have therefore returned the item - such a shame as, after spending considerable time researching, I thought I had found the perfect slider board.Since writing this, I have received a polite apology from the company and Amazon has refunded. I consider I was unfortunate and, perhaps, had a faulty board. I wish them well.

This base is made out of a smooth well finished wood and is light in colour. The Thermomix feet fit in recesses on the top of the board. There is a cutout on the front and on both sides, these allow you to get you hands in and slide the base around, and the teflon feet make it much easier to move it around on the work surface. A really good item.

I had such high hopes for this product, but I’m left utterly disappointed. On the surface, it looks nice and seems to be made of great quality, which only makes this letdown sting more. Unfortunately, it’s completely unfit for purpose. It’s not compatible with my TM6 weighing scale, and there’s clearly some sort of levelling defect. The scale gives wildly inconsistent readings, the results don’t match up to what I get without this board. I wanted so badly for this to work, but it’s useless to me. What a shame.
