I had pretty much given up on getting a video doorbell for my Simplisafe system because my new house's doorbell is not be the door frame, but on a sidewall. I figured all I would see is the other wall! The other reviews were few and did to give me much hope.The ad copy here did not mention the Pro version of the Simplisafe video doorbell. It did not mention that it has a wire channel through which the wire can be trained to get to the new doorbell. It didn't mention that it has holes that fit the average old mechanical doorbell - I don't have to drill any new holes and used the old ones! It didn't mention that the holes on the holder part fit the Simplisafe video doorbell Pro and the screws fit just right and holes were drilled perfectly.I couldn't find any other holders for the Simplisafe Pro that help in this situation. I had given up, but when I found it, I decided to try it out and see if I could MAKE it work with glue, new holes, whatever it would take. That wasn't necessary. If you look at the photos I provided, It looks nice, fits perfectly and the one shows the video it provides. It gets the whole body and face in case you need it, even the whole sidewalk approach. The other photo shows our front door without a doorbell on the same wall as the door itself! Thank you SplashnColor!!!

This was exactly what I needed. My doorbell was 90° to the left of my door. I needed to angle to catch my walkway. This worked perfectly. The holes werre different so I had to drill out another one for the bottom hole of this mount and the rest was a breeze. I liked how I could anle this how I needed and then install a set screw.

ZERO stars... the item is a cheap piece of plastic that is already cracked. Doesn't stay stable and when someone pushes the doorbell it moves the camera angle. I had to order an angle bracket and will install that. I would NOT recommend buying this product. It is junk!

We needed this piece to install our camera as there isn’t much siding on the side of our front door to install it. We were able to use it on the side of our entry way and our camera fit perfectly at a angle without issues

My doorbell was located in a corner of the porch that did not provide a good, clear view of our front walk and door. I was looking for something I could mount to that would allow me to adjust the angle to improve the viewing area. I had perviously purchased a Ring mount which allowed me to move the horizontal angle. I had to modify it quite a bit to make it work, but it did okay. I then found this unit specifically made for the SimpliSafe doorbell. "Perfect!" I thought. In reality, the mount is great, but the installation accessories were not great. The screws that come with the kit did not fit correctly for attaching to the mount. Also the screw holes did not line up perfectly. Ultimately this item did exactly what I wanted and gives me a great view of my front porch and yard, just know you may have to get creative with your installation..

Worked like a charm. It will not get you a full 90 degree, but close enough

Not very practical. It's hard to keep the camera position still. Every time you ring the bell, the camera's position changes. I switched to the ones that do not swivel. Much better!

Doesn’t fit!!!As much as I wanted this to work, it won’t. As you can see in the pictures the base is actually larger than the doorbell base. Also the screw holes do not align. And the screws that come with this kit, also will not attach the doorbell base to the angle kit.Disappointed
