Installed it on one garage door and another kit from a Big Box store on my second, both work but this one is more than $20 less...

The media could not be loaded. Don’t pay super expensive prices to have your garage door replaced when you can do it yourself! Belt-driven garage door openers are quieter than chain-driven openers and have advanced features, but they are more expensive to repair. With this kit you can repair your garage belt quickly and easily. As our luck would have it our garage door stopped working right when we needed to leave for work and take the kids to school. So frustrating!! We have a close friend who repairs garages so we called him to help us. We were advised by our friend who repairs garages to purchase this belt so that when he repairs it he could also upgrade it. When we first opened the box, we noticed it was made of super strong material. My husband gave his friend a hand in the installation but really didn’t have to since the repair went so much faster than we expected. The instructions were clearly written and easy to follow. They both commented enthusiastically that installation was super easy. Now we have a garage that closes without the terrible squealing and grinding sound it was making and it actually opens and closes without any issue. It’s a nice smooth open and close without the garage door motor sounding like it was struggling as before, which is important because the garage is right next to our guest room where we often have babies that sleep during the day. We are super pleased with this garage door belt kit and would highly recommend it!

This extension worked perfectly for my new Chamberlain garage door opener. This was my second Chamberlain garage door opener 8 foot extension. the first was actually from Chamberlain the second one was this one. Both are identical except this one was less expensive. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Belt is too long. Does not come with hardware. No name no brand.

Installed with kit and works great. Recommended by garage door repair person to find on Amazon. He lead us straight. Love it.
