Modern Operating Systems Hardcover – 25 Sept. 2014

Quite expensive and very comprehensive.. I barely read it and only got it cause it was a recommended text :p For what it is though it's a solid book

The trademarks page was cut off and the the proportion of each page used for printing (where the text/ink actually is) is disappointingly lowJust found a copy of the book and can now confirm this was a misprint but I'm still stuck with a £60 illegible textbook

I have just bought the Kindle Oasis and it says it is not compatible.... in the description there is not any warning about it... so now I wasted plenty of money for nothing

be careful to scratch the access code

I can only read this book on two devices. I wanted to read it on a tablet, pc and phone, I can't. It does say in the small print, can only be read on two simultaneous devices (which i hadn't noticed when I purchased it ) however I only have kindle running on one device at a time but I still can't read it on 3 devices. Not happy considering the price of this book.

I ordered the 4th edition and received the 3rd edition!!!!

This book is great, however I was not able to get access code to Pearson website.

The book came without the student access code without which you can’t access the companion website.
