Bought this for 4 year old Christmas pressie. After checking reviews thought I'd better try to make sure it worked. Bit confusing instructions to add batteries to spider but I got there. ITS GREAT HE'LL LOVE IT. It does take 5 AA batteries 3 for body and 2 in remote. Eyes light up and it scurries across floor. Maybe could have been a bit cheaper but bought it now.

Lots of fun
My grandson wasn't too keen at first but once he got over the shock of its legs moving he loved it. He sprays the water out and it just looks like smoke absolutely loves that and the music and it's so easy to use I have to add he is only 4.

My 4 year old loves it
Bought for my little one's 4th birthday and he loves it. The smoke coming out of it is great. It has limited functionality and only changes direction on reverse. He doesn't require a remote control toy with forward, back left, and right.

Bought this for my sons birthday he absolutely loved it until the third day and it's completely stopped working now very devastated child I definitely don't recommend this toy.Very disappointed

Edit: I returned the defective one and recieved a new one quickly with zero issues. My son absolutely loves it amd customer service was friendly and willing to solve the issues.I bought this for my 4 year old son. It doesn't not move at all. Very disappointing it was the only thing he actually asked santa for.
