Time will tell
This review is for the GD10KBN, which for whatever reason Amazon removed and decided to redirect the product page here. Whatever.Fired right up on propane after purging the line.So far so good I've only got break in hours on it but during that time I simultaneously ran my 1/2hp well pump, 1/3hp sump pump, 700W air handler, 800W worth of electronics, a fridge/freezer, and a chest freezer. No problems. At first idle hunted a little under just a 1500W load but after putting some more steady loads on it and getting a few hours it runs fine.No battery tender was included.Note that there are NO breakers for the 30A and 50A outlets. The combination meter shows last runtime in hrs:minutes, an hour meter in whole hours only, 240V vintage, and frequency. Not including load meter is a bummer.Overall happy, this is just for emergency and so as long as it works when I need it I don't care about creature comforts or bells and whistles.Support has been responsive. They reply to emails within a day or so and I was able to reach someone on the phone within ten minutes or so

Powerful, reliable, cost effective brand for whole home emergency power.
This is the second Pulsar generator I've owned over the past several years (the first being a 10k dual fuel that I gave to my aunt when I upgraded to a 12k for my new home). These things are workhorses and ultra reliable. After Hurricane Irma, I ran my 10k for 10 days straight and it powered my whole house (incl. one central HVAC).I actually converted my 12k unit to Tri-Fuel so I could run the unit on natural gas, as we have a hard line providing service to our home.We were just hit by Helene's storm surge 2 weeks ago, and last week we experienced a direct hit from Milton. So far we have been without power for 48 hours and I've been running my 12k since the outage began (on natural gas). The unit is powering x2 central HVAC systems, our full-sized refrigerator, and lighting (100% LED).For the money, you simply cannot beat Pulsar in terms of quality and reliability. Buy with confidence.
