Thought producing recommended read for any chronic disease sufferer
BLIND FAITH, an e-book by John Crittenden describes his research and development of a protocol that overcame increasing loss of vision caused by advancing macular degeneration. This is a book graciously offered free for a time by the author and is a most thought provoking endeavor worth reading by anyone interested in their personal health. The author is a successful and highly respected Canadian artist who already had lost sight almost completely in one eye to AMD and was informed the same condition was advancing in the second. The medical profession states quite clearly that there is no cure for macular degeneration. However, this one courageous individual actually was able to reverse his advanced condition. He accomplished this feat by acting upon a firm belief that the body should be able to `heal itself' if the proper healthful routine could be established. Recognizing that medicine is constructed and practiced along conventional lines where treatment for disease more usually is to treat symptoms after they have appeared, John searched for a Naturopathic Physician with the understanding that these individuals have an approach more in line with his new direction. Then, through personal research of herculean proportions combined with advice from this man, a helpful Ophthalmologist and an understanding primary care physician he was able to devise a workable protocol. This he describes in specific detail.Individuals acquainted with research methodology and its reporting immediately will recognize the author's unfamiliarity with the usual procedures. This is entirely irrelevant. The man obviously has spent countless hours in gathering a mass of interesting facts pertinent not only to macular degeneration, but to chronic disease in general. He also has pursued his goal relentlessly and submitted to endless testing required to reach his goal.It is strongly suggested that John Crittenden's book is a worthwhile read for any person who is suffering from any number of debilitating chronic diseases and especially if he/she is willing to undergo the exhausting pre-protocol research and evaluations required.

Love this book!
Book arrived yesterday. I'm about halfway through it. I'm 74, got advanced dry AMD in both eyes with a side order of incipient cataracts. Got my fluorescein angiography on Tuesday. AMD is not quite bad enough to start injections, but Pimsler has been wavy gravy for a couple years, and I'm losing pixels right and left. This book makes a ton of sense to me, and I'm so glad that Crittenden had the discipline to a) do the research, b) make application, and c) keep detailed records of his success. I have high hopes that, like Crittenden, I can impress the doctors. [They don't believe in healing, so if your eyes get better, they think it's a miracle! Haha.] My next appointment is in 3 months: 25 JAN 2021.The real goal is to regain eyesight of course; impressing the docs will be a happy side effect. Oh and I have a drivers' license exam coming up next year. If I can impress the optical machine down at the DMV, that'll be good too. Not to mention being able to solder small connectors easily again, read without magnification, recognize people across the room, etc. etc.Crittenden says that every person is a unique case, and the more accurately you can tailor your regimen, the better. Which makes total sense. I doubt I'm gonna find a naturopathic doc where I live, but I did find a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) practitioner, and with her help I'll do my best to apply the info.Lookin forward to a bright, hi-res future!

I'd like it in hard copy
I'd like it in hard copy. Too much info, and for me hard to pull it all together on Kindle. But it is good info and I think very worthwhile, the body does know how to heal itself, given a chance.

My Eyesight was Restored!
I'm a 43-year-year old woman, and last year I was diagnosed with wet macular degeneration at the Cincinnati Eye Institute, and I was told my vision loss in my left eye was 20/400. There was no hope for a full recovery given, but I was told I could try the eyeball shots which would hopefully help my eyesight from getting worse. I did have two rounds of shots in my eye.Because I'm never one to listen to one opinion, I started to do my own research. I read this book, Blind Faith. I did about 3/4th of what the book recommended. When I returned to the Cincinnati Eye Institute, the retinal eye doctor specialist was stunned at how my eye was improving. He said maybe it was my age, being younger than the average patient he sees for this condition. My eyesight had improved drastically, and the last time I was there was several months ago.I deligently kept up the regime outlined in the book, and a few weeks I went to my regular eye doctor who tested my eyes. He was the one that originally referred me over to the Cincinnati Eye Institite when I'd basically lost the majority of my vision In my left eye. This time, my eyesight was correctable back to 20/20, and he was at a complete loss. He asked me if I would consider being part of a future eye study, as he'd never seen improvement like this before.I told him what I had done, basically following the book's guidelines, but he shrugged and said that had nothing to do with it, and he was suprised And totally perplexed by my spontanious vision recovery.Well, I believe this book works, so I'm going to continue to do these things. I thank God I ran across this book.If you have been diagnosed, I'd at least read the boon and try it. It's your vision. It's worth saving.
