I bought this for my wife because she takes thousands of pictures and needed an easy way to store and transfer them. This device is very easy to use. There is the Iphone "Lightning" connector on one end and then it slides to the other side of the thumb drive to transfer to a usb port to attach to a hard drive or computer. The price is great. Compact.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:four stars because it took a while to figure it out and the instructions are not clear enough. this is the only one that seemed compatible with my phone. I was a little too cautious and selected the smaller drive but now I wish that I had selected a larger-sized one. I have an iPhone 15 pro with over 14000 photos and videos. Be patient. It works.

This is a great tool to move files from your phone (Android or Apple) to a computer or somewhere else for storage. I have an Android and it was VERY simple to use and transfer files.

Works as expected My wife's iPhone can't update to IOS 18 because the phone doesn't have enough space left. Can't record videos or take pictures anymore, because there are too many photos and videos inside and she doesn't want to delete them all. I found this product and bought it as a trial as the only solution. It worked as expected. I was able to copy hundreds of photos and videos in my phone and transfer them all to this Photo stick at an amazingly fast speed. I put the photo stick with all the data in a safe place in case I need to use it again, then I deleted some old photos and videos in my phone to free up space. My wife's iPhone was able to update to the new IOS. I bought a second one for my son with a newer iPhone, luckily it worked because the product comes with a lightning and Type C adapter so it can be used for all iPhone generations. I really like this product and recommend it to anyone looking for a solution to free up iPhone space without deleting lots of precious old photos and videos.

I bought two of these one for myself and one for my husband. Unfortunately, it's not working on his Iphone and he has the same as I do. The little arm that goes into the phone appears to be too loose.For me it works great. I am keeping the other as a backup for my phone if I need it or if for some reason it starts to work in his iphone. What is nice it you can download from your iphone then put it on you computer. You can download from your computer and put it on your phone. I bought some songs of Amazon and put them on my phone. Works great. I got this to download pictures from my Iphone and put them on my computer. I did that now I can delete what pictures I want now from my phone as to get space back. I can pick what ones i want to keep on my phone.If you don't want to put it on your computer or phone. You can leave it right on the drive. You can then go from your phone to your computer of vis a versa without downloading anything and taking up space.Love this iphone/usb drive works great for me. Get it if you have a cellphone this is a necessity.

It did not work as I expected. It was only able to download pictures and I wanted to download other files.

Easy to use, and I have been able to transfer 1000s of photos from my iPhone to the Apple MiFi Certified 256GB flash drive and free up space on my phone. There was an extra step I needed to take because my photos were stored on the Cloud. It was simple - select the photos I wanted transferred to the flash drive, click on transfer photos from iCloud, and it was instant. This is the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. I cannot simply transfer all photos to the Cloud - I had to scroll through them and select which ones I wanted to store on the flash drive. There might be a better way to do this already that I am unaware of. Still a great product!
