I wanted to test some HDMI transmitters because the idea is pretty cool.This pack has a case and a transmitters / receiver pair. They are 1.2" x 2.6" x 4.5" without the antennas, adding the antennas adds another almost 2" making the unit 6.5". The have the option for a battery pack, but this set doesn't come with those. the body of the units has a 1/4" thread for a tripod/mount on two sides. The antennas must be removed to be put into the case.These are pretty cool. My use case was that i wanted to watch a movie from my xbox but that is in another room on the other side of my house. I was able to plug this into my xbox and play a movie to my TV in another room without issue. There is definitely some lag in there, so gaming would be tough (maybe turn based). The audio and video were only the slightest bit off, which didn't bother me while watching a movie.What i wanted to really test was the range, being able to use this on a projector outside could be cool. So got in my car with my laptop connected to the transmitter. I connect the other side to my tv and put a camera to watch my tv from my phone. The transmitter was able to send a signal from my car through the wall of my house to the tv from 140m or about 460ft, and that is impressive.I like how the units feel (the top is metal (probably for cooling) and the sides are palstic. The 'industrial' look is cool and the case is a nice touch. I like that they use USC-C for power.

Similar to another brand that is industry standard, but at a better price. They didn't skimp on quality. Comes well made. These work extremely well, basically plug and play. Great image quality and no noticable lag at all. Solid system and definitely worth it if you do any type of client work.

Pretty much a good variant of the Hollyland Mars= system.Very easy to setup and use as a field monitor projector on a Sony A7s3. The delay is very miniscule, almost enough to play a FPS video game on if you want. You can easily play a game that doesn't require pin point timing on it like a classic JRPG on the stream with no issues.The receiver and transmitter is a hard plastic shell. I wasn't a fan of the power button which requires you to hold it down to turn it on or off. I much prefer a sliding switch for these systems as it's obvious to tell from looking at the switch if it's on or off.I tested the output from a Sony camera on a tripod and went quite a good distance with a field monitor. I was able to get a good clip away before any major connection issues in open air. Through a structure the range was more limited but it still performed admirably.It comes with a nice hard case where you can store the units. Though annoyingly you have to take the antenna off to fit everything in. I wish they gave you cold show mounts so you can slide them on your hotshoe on your camera. It doesn't come with HDMI cables but it does come with 2 usb power cable and 2 wall plugs. Botht the TX and RX units can take a NP-F battery to power.I found the system really responsive and nice. Probably one of the better wireless hdmi systems I've tested, and this last year there's been over 15+ of them tested. It is a little pricey though but is a lot cheaper than alternatives from better known companies. There's even a coupon to bring the price further down making it more than a $125 less than competing products. That's nice.

These wireless video transmitter receiver set is awesome! This set is quality and has great range. I love that it also comes with a fitted vase, but you have to take it apart to pack it away (such a bad design choice). I love that this will run off of my batteries and has a loop out function so I can use it on set. This is easy to connect and to mount, although I do wish it had more mounting points and connection types (like some cold shoe mounts). But this looks professional and works well. I love the status lights so I can see connectivity and battery life very easily.

These work very good. I don't know if they are worth the price, but I like them. I'll be looking forward to availability of additional receivers for venues with multiple screens. One star just assumes that feature will work without being able to test it yet.I would be much happier if the very nice case included actually fit the devices and their batteries with the antennas attached. It is ridiculous to expect people to remove 4 small easily lost, easily damaged antennas each time you need to carry or store these. And require user to provide cable and battery transport and storage separately.The multiple locations of 1/4-20 screws are convenient to mount on a tripod. An anti rotation pin would help prevent accidental loosening and help mating with microphone mixer.It would be helpful if there were higher contrast on some of the port labels. For example on the transmitter, in the dark it can be very hard to distinguish HDMI in from HDMI out.Edit: I forgot to mention the latency. It is not low. It feels about 1 second between moving a mouse and seeing it move on screen. I didn't measure it, but it is certainly worse than other wireless HDMI I've tried. However this platform is more stable than the ones I've tried with less latency.. I have not yet experienced enough dropped frames to notice. Its really nice to have a couple NP-F970 batteries last all day long. I got the ones that have USB ports so I can supply other things with power from the same battery at the same time. It is really nice to plug in a USB cable to power it temporarily during a battery change without any interruption to the video. Glitch free.
