If you are just going to be packing a few things the bag is perfect. For instance
So I purchased this sling bag early 2016. So this has been my daily carry for 2 years now. What I was originally looking for:Essentially a sling bag (as i found myself always just using one strap) with the interior dimensions more similar to a backpack. I wanted to be able to fit my laptop but also have room for a jacket and a book or other misc items. In this purpose the bag has held up remarkably and has done very well. If you are just going to be packing a few things the bag is perfect. For instance, I work remotely and sometimes like to go to starbucks to work. Grabbing the computer and a few small things like that this bag is perfect. The 3 pockets in the front are perfect for glasses, headphones, ID, ect. Very well thought out and the back compartment is very roomy for a sling bag. This bag has done everything i wanted it too and has held up with little damage the two years ive used it. And for that it deserves 5 stars. While i really do want to stress that the bag is a great buy for the above scenario- I admit i'm looking for a new bag. So i'll go over what this bag doesnt do and why the need for a change. In no particular order:* The laptop compartment is not padded. Hasnt been an issue but i've come close.* The exterior accents ("Night", the orange buttons, the headphone jack) just annoy me. Like the orange is fine but the the front panel is a bit messy in that regard. Found a different bag from the same company the eliminates this that looks very similar that might be worth checking out.* The front flap (with night on it) has weak velcro that stopped working right away. never been a big deal cause its a deep pocket and its just velcro but its the only thing to go wrong with the bag besides a thread or two loose). Worth saying i've never had trouble with the zippers or anything else. Straps are long but just lasso on the two loops and its fine.* i've started carrying a pair of shorts, a shirt, socks, underwear, and a toothbrush and deodorant. Just because I sometimes a stay in one city or the other, crashing with friends late, missed luggage, ect. Honestly a good habit for anyone for those Just in case moments. BUT having all that even though small, then adding the laptop, charger, and a book or two.... the space just doesnt go far. once al lthat is in forget putting a small jacket in, because once it bulges out it just seems to put some tension on the computer.* if you have anything in the main compartment, getting the computer in or out (or any item that needs to hit the bottom like a larger book) is incredibly awkward.* best to put in a bin when going through airports.. due to long straps and sizing issues above doesnt make a very good travel bag. Some of these are just constraints of a sling bag. Which sucks cause i like the way they look so much more. But my two cents would be its an excellent buy for a casual day use situation like day hikes and working out of a starbucks. But anything more then a laptop, change of clothes, and a small book and it just gets tight. For instance, in the pic all i have in there is a change of clothes, a book, a charger, a few toiletry's and you can see that its already a bit bulgy. Put the SP4 in and its about as much as you want in it. Bag is fine though if you dont plan on keeping any overnight stuff in it.Anyway. Hope this helps.

Bag snob who LOVES this bag!
Let's start by saying I am very picky bag snob. I also love sling style bags. I just got my bag today as promised, thank you Prime. My thoughts on this bag? I friggin' LOVE it!Most sling bags come with straps that are way too short. I'm not skinny and I am female, so I have parts that require a strap that is long enough to be comfortable. This bag has a very long strap so you can adjust it to fit even a very tall person, a husky person, I'd dare say this strap will fit pretty much 99% of the body types out there. This was perhaps the #1 most important feature for a bag. Well done!I was also skeptical of the fabric. In the photos it appears like it is almost like a flimsy parachute silky thing type of fabric. Have no fear, the fabric has a nice weight and texture to it. I'd suspect it is water resistant enough and wouldn't hesitate putting my tablet or eReader in it during a good rain. It also has an inside lining for extra protection and to give it some body. I purchased the gray with green trim and personally I love it. It's more of a black base with white dots/checking giving it a gray appearance. And I'm a sucker for the hot green trim. Speaking of the green trim, you can also find it throughout the interior of the bag outlining the interior pockets for style, which also helps you see where your pockets and pen holders are considering the inside lining is black. Again, well done!As for the size and pockets, this is a very good sized bag. I'd suspect you could put a netbook in it, along with a tablet and eReader. Inside there are also several pockets for organizing and a small zippered pocket which will be especially appreciated by women for securing "personal" items. You know what I'm saying ladies. You will find a large open pocket at the back of the main compartment. A medium and small pocket at the front of the main compartment, along with 3 slots for pens/markers, and the zippered pocket I mentioned a bit ago. Plus of course a large interior open space. And the cursory headphone outlet. Good job!Lots of exterior easy access storage, too. A rear zippered for easy access, and two zippered pockets on front, and a small magnetic flap pocket that would fit a smart phone quite nicely. There is also the pouch for a water bottle with a nice barrel lock to snug it into place. I prefer this to the mesh type of water bottle pockets that some bags have and get snagged on everything. Love the hook at the top of the bag so I can easily hang the bag to keep it off the floor, hang it on the back of the bathroom door stall, or the back of my car seat. Zippers are sturdy enough and have nice long pull tabs on them. Sweet! My only dislikes are the tacky rubber and leatherette patches on the front. It's like they found a tag on a U.S. made mattress and thought that the words must have said something cool. Seriously, the patch on the pocket says "not to be removed until delivered to the consumer." And it's sewn on and riveted on, so it's not like you would want to remove it as it would damage the bag. It's clear they thought the words would be stylish. Luckily, no one will be able to read it while you are wearing it as the writing is stamped on and not in a contrasting ink. If you're going to write stuff in English, at least check with someone native to the language to understand what words would be "cool" and culturally appropriate to the audience purchasing the product. Phew, awkward.Overall, I totally dig this bag and think you will, too!
