This little camera is pretty impressive, especially considering the price. I use it to watch wildlife out back and occasionally to watch the driveway. I use it for check-in surveillance, so I can't speak to the quality of the motion detection, and I do not pay for the cloud subscription.The image quality is plenty good. I can watch chipmunks at probably 60 feet away with no issues, and read license plates at a similar distance. I use standard definition mode instead of hi-def most of the time to preserve battery life and because that is all I need. Real-time motion is a little delayed, and watching something moving quickly isn't particularly clear, but for the size and cost of this thing it is very good.Speaking of the battery life, it is awesome. I was concerned about this because it would be really inconvenient for me to run a wire to where I put the camera, but it has been set up for 8 days straight right now and is still at about 50 percent battery. I do not ever turn it off, and I stream the video to a screen about 30-60 minutes per day, and I believe the night vision IR light is on every night. Keep in mind though I do run it in SD, I do not know how much worse it would be in HD.Night vision is better than I expected, although it is better in a smaller space where the infrared spotlight can actually light things up. Trying to look into the distance outside with night vision is not nearly as clear as an indoor room or a garage. It does see my entire two-stall 30-foot-deep garage though in pitch blackness.Connecting with the app took me a few minutes to figure out but has been flawless since. I have never had the camera fail to connect when I wanted to look. There is occasionally a momentary freeze in the stream but not enough to affect the usefulness of the camera.The little plastic stand that comes with it is just a ball-socket that holds the camera with friction and sticks to stuff with some 3M adhesive. So far the stand works wonderfully. The adhesive is very strong, I mount the camera upside down to watch the driveway and I can just reach up and pull the camera off the stand without worrying about it un-sticking from the ceiling. The ball has enough friction to keep the camera steady without even thinking about drooping or wobbling or anything, it is pretty solid when it is new.I did expect it to be a bit smaller, it is definitely larger than portrayed in the Amazon cover image. It's probably the size of 2 or 3 tic tac containers or zippos. I can still close my hand around it in my palm, but its a lot bigger than a postage stamp like the pics suggest.Overall very, very happy with this thing for $20. Battery life, image quality, and connectivity/ease of use would be worth it at twice the price. I will update if this thing falls apart after a month or something, but so far I love it.

I first noticed the quality packaging of my Javiscam Security Camera and it's timely arrival. while the camera is larger than i expected at 2"X1.5"X1.6" feels and appears as a quality product; I am a little surprised. The unit readily charged with its supplied USB cable and mounting is a breeze with its supplied screws and wall anchors. I currently have not opted for the cloud service nor checked its pricing. I was able to easily download the Ubox app setting up the unit trouble free. Testing the unit without a mini-SD card delivered a crisp picture on my iphone. Going through the menu and features I recorded 2 short videos. Later finding them in my pictures on my phone. It is quite nice to be able to monitor, record, and save without a installed SD card or the paid cloud service. (note the recordings were done manually from the app). The motion detection too is of top quality, whereas I lowered its setting to medium senseitivity. Answering the alerts sent to my iphone I was able to view and record in both normal mode and night vision mode. if there is a flaw i have not found it with the camera itself but the night vision as all of the first generation infar red the user must beware of and adjust the reflection of the infer red light. While there are no setting for this. The upclose proximity of a white/tanish wall and other like items will make the picture and view unusable. I have yet to try it when I am off premises that will be shortly. I am more than pleased at this moment. I am sure it is a quality product and does all that it is advertised to do and possibly more. Especially for the price! Thank you Javiscam for an inexpensive quality indoor security cam. Bad Nannies and wayward children beware, LOL!!

I ordered 3 of these little guys. I also purchased one other brand, but have already sent that one back for a refund as this app is so much user friendly.Things I like:1. Small size2. Camera quality is more than sufficient to help me have eyes/ears when I can't be there.3. Love the fact it's charge lasts so long (I'm going on week 2 and still lots more to go - I heard it's close to 1 month USB charge for normal use)4. Customer service seems to be active and involved (which is nice that they care so much! Speaks volumes in my book)5. The app is sooo user friendly!Cons1. The color on one camera has gotten a little bit purple - not sure if thats a sign of battery use or if i need to contact the company.2. I did not realize I would need a subscription for each camera in order to watch cloud storage videos. The price is not outrageous, but it would have made me more hesitant. I will say, small price to pay for the peace of mind!Will definitely recommend these little jewels!

I love this camera. It is actually my 4th one to purchase. They are reliable and easy to operate as well. Battery life is good also. Just wish they came with an SD card.
