This is a 5 oz spray can of ghee with garlic, from Karavansay Alimentos Naturales. It arrived in perfect condition and factory sealed. I never dreamed sprayable ghee existed, but here we are. This is kind of a genius idea. It is exactly two ingredients, ghee and garlic. There isn't even propellant in the can. The only trick here is that butter solidifies somewhere in the range of 60 to 65 F. which is also the temperature range of my kitchen in winter. I could tell when it arrived that the ghee inside was solidified, and even after a few hours at room temperature it could only spray a thin ribbon of semi-solid ghee. I then followed the instructions that are included on a tag that was on the product. I stood the bottom 3/4 or so of the can in a container of very hot water for a couple of hours. I would suggest a pitcher or a vase for this, something with a narrow neck and wider shoulders (which help keep the can from floating up and out of the water). Once I had done that and then given the can a really good shake, voila, I had sprayable ghee! It sprays beautifully now. It also tastes amazing, it's hard to go wrong with butter and garlic. This is just such a clever and useful idea. I'm impressed!

It’s hard to give it five stars because I was going to return it. Before I returned it I looked up information about this product. You have to put the can in very hot water. Take it out shake it up. Put it in the hot water shake it up until it melts and then you can spray it

Won't spray. I understand that this is a hard item to put in a spray but expensive for not working.

When I got this spray, it didn't work. I was about to return it but there was a tag hanging on the bottle that explained the problem. If the spray would not work, you have to soak the canister in warm water (105 F) to warm the contents. I did that for 10 minutes and it worked. However, I can't keep the canister warm all the time and having to warm it for 10 minutes just for a quick spray to season a pan or flavor something is so inconvenient. I'll use it, but not as often as I'd like. Not buying it again.

The media could not be loaded. Have you ever tried Ghee? If you haven't and you're wondering if it is worth the hype, the answer for me is yes. Particularly I love to cook eggs in Ghee. It offers (to me) a better taste than just butter. When I saw this spray form I knew I wanted to try it, and I'm glad I did. To the person who said their product was broken because it wouldn't spray, there is a small card inside the box that illustrates what to do in that case. You have to think of what this is - fat. If it's cold, it's not going to come out as you might think any old pump product would do. I tried it right out of the box and had a similar result. When I gently shook it up for about a minute, out it came.EDIT -- All it needs is SHAKE SHAKE SHAKE SHAKE SHAKE - get in a bit of a workout.... and it works great. It came out in a SPRAY not a lackluster ribbon. Get on it, and enjoy the ghee.

If your house is cold in the winter like mine is, this stuff is a pain to use. You have to submerge part of the can in hot water for a bit to melt it, and then everything is fine and it sprays. Otherwise, if it's soft, it comes out in a weird semi-liquid stream, which can still still be useful. I've used it for flavoring rice and bread before. It has a buttery ghee flavor and a really strong garlic flavor which makes me so happy. I'm glad that it doesn't have propellants and stuff; I just wish there were a way to make it easier to use when the house is cold!

We’re liking this ghee spray. I’m not so huge on garlic, but husband is & turns out that we both actually are enjoying this. The garlic taste isn’t overwhelming & the ghee tastes nice & fresh. The sprayer works well enough - it’s comes out as a stream more than a spray though. I appreciate that this is made in Colombia of clean ingredients. We’re enjoying it & can surely recommend it.
