Pen testing
This product when paired with the Bruce firmware is a excellent alternative to The flipper zero for pen testing purposes. Adding a few additional boards to it such as the NRF and or a GPS as well and an FM radio allow for pen testing of different frequencies and other parameters I say all and all that this product to 5 out of 5

Finally, an ESP32 device that works as advertised.
Before buying this T-Embed CC1101 by LilyGo, I went through:1st the orange and white T-Embed, not realizing there was the CC1101 which is so much better. This thing gave me hell from the beginning, eventually breaking the ribbon for display trying to solder something..2nd the M5Stack Core Basic. Again, didnt realize there were much better. SO i got better at researching before buying.Anyway. THis one rocks... I got Bruce flashed and setup the first day

Better than flipper, if u know script. If u don't understand, don't buy
The media could not be loaded. Ok.. this is literally my very first esp32 , arduino, anything. I was curious on iot security. Its one of my things, security, to keep things, people safe. And tools and knowledgeis required. . And had no clue what I was getting myself into. It has same capability as flipper zero, but... and a big BUT, u need to set the conditions ie, u need to know python code. Or arduino. or know enough to copy paste ardueno script in github . I assumed, buy it. Install firmware, and thats all.... ohhhhhh no... no.. no . I was so nieve. All that, beeing said. If ur intelligent enough to figure some of this stuff out, ull be ok.... if u don't understand iot, micropython, or arduino, just buy a flipper zero. Im 47 have a windows computer running vista, dont know diddly squat about computers,. I get the idea now. Took me a bit.. but I grasp this concept now.. I try to learn something new every day. U should too.. don't be D I C K.. help people. Don't take what's not yours. Or pay the consequences

Known issue, screen will stop displaying and only show backlight
Was great while it worked. Screen stopped displaying all of the sudden, only the backlight works. Have done all troubleshooting that I have read in the forums, all with the same result, backlight works only. Disappointing purchase, sent message to seller through Amazon and Lilygo site to return the device, will update review if anything changes.

Great device for the cost
Works great battery is good for a nice amount of Carry and use time easy to use if you know what your doing if you have problems with flashing make sure to disconnect the battery then hold reset when connecting the battery seems stuck in place at first all tho it’s sticky paste so it can sit nicely the back panel is magnetic make sure to check your model tho

HTP and have fun!
This thing is fun! So long as you flash the Bruce firmware. It has all goods or can be modified for new stuff. UI is intuitive, and buttons are tactile making functionality a breeze! Be good, or be good at it.

Disappointed
Really fun cool gadget when it works. Very disappointed because first day it gave me issues where display wouldn't turn on but issue went away, left it charging over night came back to it and display was frozen, reflashed the device and there was a pulse that rippled through display when booting indicating that more than likely the display manufacturer is giving a large percentage of faulty displays to lilygo.. ordered a new display from another manufacturer to see what happens, will continue shopping for lilygo devices
