Couldn't get these to work with my garage door at all. I must have the wrong frequency, or something. Whilst I was disappointed, I'm sure others will have better luck.

These little remotes are available all over the internet, and this bundle is offered at a good price. The headline 433.92 Mhz frequency at which they operate means they will work with any compatible receiver. However many systems operate on a different radio frequency (my garage doors use 433.9). Unless the radio frequencies match exactly the fob will not operate your system. The instructions suggest opening your existing remote to identify the RF chip but I doubt this operation is within the skillset of the average DIY householder. The Catch 22 in this case is that the fob will not work unless it matches your current RF frequency, but the only way for most of us to tell is to buy the fob to try it. Programming the fob from your existing remote is simple, assuming your existing remote still works.They have a quality look and feel about them, are inexpensive and arrive complete with batteries already installed. Programming is done at the receiver end so you will need your manual! Excellent value.

Replaced my current fob like for like, worked right away. Decent quality plastic and buttons, I do wish they were a bit smaller though!

Seem like good quality replacements.

Our garage door remote recently stopped working, despite changing the battery for a new one. I ordered these, as they appear to use the same frequency as our original remotes. Luckily, whatever was causing the original remote to not work has managed to fix itself. Just as well, as despite following the instructions given in the product listing, it’s not as straightforward to get these programmed as you might think. We haven’t successfully managed to pair these with our garage door at all. My husband has now found an online manual for our garage door opener, so he’s going to have to work out if there is a way to change the programming mode on the opener to allow it to learn the code for these. I’ll update my review if we ever manage to get them to work. For now, if I had bought them, I would have returned them. It’s not to say they won’t work straight away for some people, but unfortunately not for us. They do look a nice compact size though, but don’t feel as robust as our original remotes.
