It works and installation wasnt too bad.
The media could not be loaded. The product definitely works and allows the vehicle to have continuous recording for my dash cam. Finding a positive and negative 12v pin was tough. I decided to connect it to these two pins which control my left & right dash light. Was afraid at first but everything is working perfectly. The volt meter was a huge help and allowed to show me the amount of volts running through that piece. Great price, quick shipping and hoping this piece lasts forever. Fingers crossed!

Makes a big difference!
I am very pleased with my purchase of the YQMAJIM Dashcam Universal Power Adapter. I was able to use the front radar of my car for a clean installation. I also checked YouTube videos specific to my car to ensure I knew where to connect each pin. I needed to contact customer support, and they were very responsive and quick in helping me achieve a successful connection. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking to install a dashcam neatly in their vehicle—it makes a huge difference!Additionally, be sure to check if they offer an adapter for your vehicle’s specific port, as it can make the installation even easier. They didn’t have the port type for my car, but if they have one for yours, that’s even better. The kit includes all the tools you’ll need, as well as a voltmeter to confirm the connection was successful.

Great idea that works
One of my vehicles has a powered mirror but doesn't have a plug and play harness available. I easily found the wires to tap online and had it installed easily. The included meter is a great idea and was helpful. My wife's car does have a plug and play harness available but this is less than half the price so I bought this again. Again with a bit of digging online I had the right wires to tap. Done in probably the same time as the harness install.

Leads too short, not sure how this would ever work over the long haul.
Giving this a 3 because I used one of their full adapters that works fine. The pins on the wires are way too short on this to reach into the socket on my 2011 Corvette's mirror. I have another set of power plugs that came with the aforementioned adapter that had slightly longer leads, but no mater how much I screwed with it I could never get voltage to read. Even if I could get this to work, there's no way these leads would stay put in the mirror socket anyway. It's a good idea and obviously works for some, but I'm returning mine as it's useless for my car.

Probes were too thick so had to splice in.
The probes were too thick for my application even after unlocking the pins. Had to splice it in. Everything else worked nicely.

Decent kit for a dashcam or GPS. Wish wires were just a little longer. Basic tools are included.
This works great for a dashcam installation for different vehicles without having to splice. The only thing is that I wanted the cable length to be just a little longer. In one of my cars, trying to tap into power while working with the wires was a little bit of a pain. It's definitely doable, but somewhat of a headache, especially in a cramped area.Despite that issue, the pins held up just fine. However, I would strongly recommend not forcing them in if there is resistance. I treated them as if they were very delicate and made sure not to bend them, push on them too hard, or put really much pressure. They're on the thinner side. The kit includes some zip ties and basic tools to pull body panels or the headliner back a little. I ended up using my own tools for this since that is what I have been comfortable with and trust. With the included voltmeter, you don't really need any additional tools to test for power. Just make sure you are tapping into a correct power source and not something that will turn off.Overall, I think this is a decent kit for installing a dashcam or maybe a GPS. The quality is fine and it seems to be a good value for all of the included wires, volt meter, fasteners, and basic tools.
