This 6 piece set is or pretty impressive after the first use which surprising exceeded my expectation. I originally bought this for restaurant use and the knives would be dull after many uses but I ended up bringing my home kitchen knives for sharpening as well lol. I mean, we all need to keep our things whether at home, in garage or at our businesses maintained and up to date! The diamond and ceramic discs are pretty effective I can say. They allow me to sharpen both my kitchen and business knives with ease. One thing I liked about this js that it includes options for both 15degree and 20degree angles, which to my satisfaction, I can get the perfect edge for any type of knife. I have some knives I specifically use for prepping chicken before seaming them and then I have my veggie knives I use in the kitchen. I have a bigger set of knives that I use with bulk meat and those need to be sharpened almost before every use, and especially if there’s bones included within the meat. It’s simple to use for those that might ask. Plus it comes with instructions , which I think are clear and easy to understand. It’s easily storable and away from view especially since I don’t use the sharpener on a daily basis so there’s no need for it to be in the kitchen restaurant but on the storage shelves. Give it a shot and decide for yourself, but k think there should be a few people that might be interested in getting one after reading my review and what I think about this 6 piece set. I should upload a pic or two of the knives sharpened afterwards so I might do that in the near future!!

Great sharpener, easy to use, especially for the less experienced with a traditional whetstone.The packaging is beautiful and durable enough to keep using to store the sharpening kit after each painless use.I read on a different review that small knives are not easy to sharpen with this kit, but I didn't find any issues using it for small knives. It brought back to life one my edc pocket knives. I posted the Pic with the review.I couldn't tell you how long the sharpening pads will last, yet. The kit did come with 3 extra sets of course and fine grain pads. The quality is good, especially with the price point compared to other ones out there.This is a great father's day gift. Cheap, thoughtful and useful. Practical gift for any situation.

There is a lot to like about this sharpener. It comes with ample replacement discs that are magnetically attached to the roller, making replacements super easy. The powerful magnets hold large blades in place while sharpening.Smaller blades, like a 4" paring knife, have proven to be more problematical, with the tip of the blade moving up as I move the sharpener against it (I'm sharpening edge down). Now if you peel back the rubber pad on the angled side of the wooden block you expose three 10 mm magnets. Put that paring knife over those magnets and it wants to center itself over them, far from the bottom edge where you want it to be to sharpen. Now the rubber pad over those magnets does hold the knife in position for sharpening but it just doesn't hold it well enough to keep it from moving if any pressure is applied from the roller. That knife tip just attracted to that magnet in the center.

Wow! This thing is really cool… in fact, gonna buy another one for my Dad for Father’s Day. I’m used to the OG Old Stlye knife sharpeners that you plug in and drag your knife front to back. With this type of knife sharpener, your knife, magnetizes to one part and the sharpener is in your hand as you move it along the blade to sharpen. Works really well. I’ve sharpened every single one of my kitchen knives and they are so sharp!!! I highly recommend this item. Easy to use, small and compact to fit in a drawer in your kitchen.

I would not recommend this product. I am a meat cutter so I work with knives on a daily basis. This thing actually made my knife worse! I would return it but my husband put oil stains on the box.
