lightweight and compact
This walker works very well for travel. It's lightweight and folds simply and quickly to park out of the way or fit in a trunk. If you take out the locking knobs, it can collapse to be more compact (can go through airport x-ray machines that way if needed). The wire basket wasn't very useful - we just tossed it.No seat for resting, and not as tip-resistant as a 4-wheel walker, but a good compromise for someone who needs a bit more stability than a cane and values portability.IMPORTANT NOTE: it is necessary to extend the back wheels (and screw down the locking knobs) after unpacking. If you don't do this, the walker will too easily tip.

The PERFECT rolling support to keep me SAFE!
At 78, I now suffer from a minor balance issue. The last thing I want to allow to happen at my age is to fall on a concrete walk or in a parking lot, and break a hip. Living in the Northeast means snow and dangerous ice every winter, too, but I sill need to visit my health center every other day or so, to stay in good shape. This makes those visits safe.At only 11 pounds, my Drive 3-wheel Rollator is my safety support! At the gym, I put my gloves, winter hat, scarf, and driving glasses and water bottle in the leatherette "kangaroo pouch" once I'm inside. No need to find a locker. (I don't need the optional metal shopping basket, but some might want it. You don't have to attach it.) I don't think of myself as "disabled," but I do like not worrying about gusty winds or blowing rain causing me to be unsteady as I dodge moving cars in a parking lot. I've had several people stop me to ask "How do you like that thing?" or "Where did you buy it? What did it cost?" One elderly gentleman at my health center even asked me to pause so he could take a picture of it!Oh, I haven't mentioned yet that standing up from the exercise machines can be a bit difficult for me at my advanced age. They don't always have something I can use to put my weight on with my arms when rising. The Rollator's brakes hold it in place for that purpose. When at the grocery store, my wife grabs a shopping cart for me to push. But for going outside anywhere else, Drive make the perfect, low-cost, light-weight yet strong insurance that I need to keep mobile. CONTRARY TO SOME OTHER REVIEWS, I FIND THIS UNIT VERY, VERY STABLE!! I have used it for a LONG time now, with NO complaints! I recommend it highly to you!

Great walker, BUT has issues
I have a small house and needed a more compact and maneuverable walker for inside the house. Unlike my outdoor walker, I didn't need a seat on the walker, so I opted for this. The good stuff:* this is very easy to move around. It gets through narrow passages more easily, especially when turning a tight corner.* easily moves over my accent rugs without getting snagged.* has a nice deep bag to carry items about, including my cane* has a tray on top of a basket, enabling me to carry a cup of coffee to another room (but, see comments below). Tray fits into lower bag when not needed.* adjustable handle bars (see comments below)* folds sideways and stands securely when necessary to save room (but see next set of comments)Not-so-good stuff:* basket is almost useless. It hangs off the frame of the walker and is very unstable. I had to pry open the hanger hooks and reposition them higher on the basket to make it more stable. It still is difficult to use because it's so flimsy. Its only useful attribute is to support the tray.* tray is not very stable, especially on top of the basket in its original construction. Tray stability improved when basket was modified.* Basket and tray need to be removed in order to fold the walker. Not a problem with the tray, but the basket has nowhere to go.* setup instructions are poor, especially with regard to the lower wheels. The photos in the instructions and here in the product description do not match my walker. I have no crossbar between the back wheels. We figured out how to pull out the back wheels, but it was trial and error.* handlebars adjust, but it's difficult to do so because it takes a little finesse to get the holes lined up properly on both sides of the vertical post for the screw to align. Would have been much easier to have a push button adjustment. If I were redesigning this, I'd scrap the basket and add a frame to lift up to hold the tray, with the frame able to fold with the walker when the tray is removed. This walker helps me a lot in the house and I don't regret buying it, but I'm sad that it has the issues I noted here. Otherwise, it's a great walker.
