Be Aware - Product Not Suitable for O-Rings
The tube clearly states on the back, "Allows easier installation of O-rings" - yet go to the manufacturer's website for this product, and it clearly states "Not for use on rubber or synthetic O-rings" (so that's all O-rings).So I'm left not knowing if this will be good for, or destroy, my O-rings - what a stupid state of affairs, typical of internet commerce. My advice would be: 1. if you can be bothered to write to the company & ask them which one is true vs which is a typo error & wait for a reply, do so, & please share the correct situation here. Or 2. Buy a different product that can make its mind up, and avoid the risk.Meantime back to doing my research all over again!

DO NOT USE ON O RINGS
Email from manufacturer, after I questioned use on o rings."Apologize for the confusion. We will update our packaging accordingly in addition to possibly coming out with a new formula. The plumbers grease you have should not be used on rubber or synthetic o-rings. The plumbers grease may distort the rubber or synthetic o-rings if there is prolonged contact."
