Gorgeous Bible and so informative!
I am new to learning and studying the Bible. I'm older and growing up, I only knew about the KJV version. I had no idea about study Bibles. So I started ordering Bibles and then I went on social media looking for Bible Study/Teaching/Journaling and found out about all the versions. NLT and CSB are my preference right now. And study Bibles are my favorite. The details in this Bible are so amazing. I am upset I didn't find it a few Bibles ago, however, I am so happy to have found it now.I love the introduction/title pages to each book. I know you can buy books with this info alone, but I wanted it all in one Bible. I really like that there are "blurbs" if you will, on certain people in each book. What I really love is, almost each verse has a cross reference verse to look up. So incredibly helpful when you new and start verse mapping. And the commentary at the bottom of the pages answer questions that pop up as I read the verses. This Bible is incredible. My only con is; The description on the Amazon page said it is 11 font, the box clearly says 10 and it is a 10. Like I said earlier, I am older and would absolutely love this in a larger font. Even with glasses I somewhat struggle to read this.

The best study bible!
I've ordered several of these over the years. The best study bible. It's thick & kinda heavy but I use it at home to study and carry another bible to church.

What I was looking for in a Bible. Pages are thin.
I was looking for a Bible I could possibly apply to modern times. There is somewhere on the back where you can look up a topic and it will give you a page that relates to it. There is also a pretty decent description of what is happening at the bottom of every page if you need help making sense of what’s happening. It’s thick. Best to keep the box and set it on the box to read and use it for storage. If you aren’t careful you might rip a page. They are thin and delicate. That may be my only complaint. Thicker paper would be nicer.

Very Large Bible
It’s a GREAT Bible, but it is HUGE! And somewhat expensive for it to be “leather-like.”

Great Bible.
I am a Bible collector and long doing Bible studies and this is definitely my favorite Bible. Working with youth ministries this helps put in perspective how the Bible can apply to our lives. The outside of the Bible it make with great leather and feels very nice. The notes in the Bible are very will put together and the sizing if the letters in the Bible look perfect it’s easy to read over long periods of time. And after marking it up it doesn’t bleed much at all.

Excellent value, decent paper, good printing, nice color.
I picked this NLT Bible up for about $12 on Amazon. I had not seen this particular edition of the NLT in person and didn't know what to expect. As a comparison, the text size is comparable to an ESV Thinline. For the price I am impressed. This Bible has a sewn binding. I've looked at every page and I haven't seen the first printing issue. The print seems to be nearly perfect which is impressive considering I've had numerous high end Bibles (think Goatskin and Calfskin/Cowhide) with significant print quality issues. The paper is pretty good for Bible paper, and especially considering the price point. There is some ghosting but I don't find it to be enough of a problem to stop using this Bible and pay more for a higher end edition. The color of the cover is very nice and attractive. On the downside - Having pretty wide exposure to lots of Bibles, I feel that the imitation leather used by Tyndall on this doesn't live up to the competition. It feels okay in the hand but compared to an ESV or HCSB Trutone (and the other names for it) it feels a bit cheap, but hey, it was $12. Also, the gilding they used is industrial strength or something, lol. I literally had to separate all of the pages from beginning to end, carefully which probably took a couple hours (no exaggeration). But after that was done, the Bible lays flat nicely and feels much better. Also, the ribbon material is a bit rigid....super cheap. But, that's to be expected given the price point. All in all, I really think this Bible is a superb value. If I were paying $25 I would move up to their Premium slimline. My wife has the Birdsong edition in large print and it feels like much better quality materials, however there is more ghosting with hers, enough that I just couldn't bite on the large print slimline. I've held the center column reference slimline and the large print compact edition in stores. The best print job I saw regarding legibility and clarity was the large print compact edition with the center column reference slimline next in line. But, those have higher price points. Choose wisely but don't be afraid of this excellent value. But, count on some time spent separating the pages, ...all of them. ;o)

So detailed
This bible is not only beautiful, it's packed with so much extra information. First, the print is indeed large, including the study notes. This helps my old eyes. The bible is big, and heavy but I don't mind it at all. There's so many extras like a A Christian Worker's Resource, Index to personality profiles, Weights and measurements, Full color maps, Concordance and more. I have about 5 other bibles and this is by far my favorite. The bible tabs (which match perfectly) were purchased separately through the OFFILICIOUS Store on Amazon. If you're looking for an incredible study bible in an easy to read translation, look no further.
